I'm like a rock
still and weak
able to crack and shatter in any impact
but your the earth
supporting me from under
giving me the strength to stay together
Sometimes I'm a feather
when I glide away
lost not knowing where I'm going
your the wind
guiding me to where I belong
and keeping me above from falling under
When I was a leaf
I would be stepped on
till I found a shady place
I was cold there
but you became my sunlight
brightening up my day
Once I was a tree
enjoying each day
till I was cut and burning away
but you were the rain
washing away my pain
growing the seeds that still remained
When I first fell for you
you were the thunder
booming away
sparking up a loomy day
ever since then I became the thunder
trying to support you all the way
Yesterday I was a negative
had no hope in the future that layed ahead
creating an unpleasant force around me
but that day you were positive
we met and came together
and today I was finally completed
