"ani, he needs to speak with you." a staff member, i believe her name was sohee, said softly, tapping me on the back as i practiced in the studio.

i nodded and took a deep breath, grabbing a towel and patting my face quickly before following her up to the biggest office in the building. sohee slipped into the office and said a few words before quickly opening the door and pulling me inside.

i bowed to the man sitting at the desk and smiled, "hello." i whispered nervously and took a seat.

bang si-hyuk, the only other time i have ever spoken to him was when i was auditioning for the male-only company. i thought i could give it a shot, being turned away at every other company in south korea.

"ani how have you been? good? practicing a lot?" he asked, his voice calm and quiet, his dark eyes trained on a few papers infront of him.

"good. yes, i have been."

he smiled and nodded, leaning back in his chair. "good. let's just get to the reason why i called you in here, you want debut right?" he hummed, putting his hands behind his head.

i nodded quickly, it's all i've ever wanted. when i first came to south korea a few years ago, i went around to every single company i could find, spending hours auditioning to only be turned away.

"alright. well, i have a group you're going to be put into."

"a new group?" i asked, not knowing of many other current trainees in the building.

"bts."

my eyes widened as i sat up straighter, "bts? they're an all boy group, sir. they've been debuted for years."

he nodded and smiled, "that's exactly the point. everyone knows them all the seven member all boy group, but we're going to change that. with you."

"you either can join them, or wait it out for another couple of years."

i shook my head and smiled, standing up and bowing further down. "no sir, thank you for the opportunity. i will do my best to make you proud." i took a shaky breath and signed a few papers before exiting his office and leaning against the cold glass.

"ani?" i looked up and saw sohee, a clipboard in her hand. "mr. bang has told me you are joining bts. congratulations." he smiled and nodded her head, "you will be moving into their dorms immediately."

my coughed and widened my eyes again, "like.. now? sohee i've never even spoken to them how can i just be put into a dorm with them-"

"you're going to do fine. they're nice boys. get your things and meet us out front in ten."

i nodded and ran back to the dorms the company had built specially for trainees. right now it was only me and two other males, both older than me by a few years. i waved goodbye to them and wished them luck before rolling my bags out and walking out of the building to the car.

no paparazzi was out because they knew bts wasn't at the company right now. a few fans screamed when the door opened but quickly stopped when they realized it was someone they had never seen before.

i slipped into the car and leaned my head back against the headrest. i sucked in a deep breath and shook my head. "let's do this."
