Chapter Six

A small farm came into view as she reached the red "X" on the map which she hoped it was Farmer Steve's seeing the words Farmer and Farm fit like two puzzle pieces

"A little faster if you can Spade please!" she said while leaning forward and the horse did as he was told and she couldn't help but know she was closer to getting able to go home and get the birthday present from her Father and when they pulled up she jumped off letting Spade to run to a nearby patch of grass and pulled out the package from her backpack then pulled the cowl up to hide her face and walked towards the door to the house next to the farm and knocked on the door which was answered by a man in a hat which hid his eyes from view with a tan shirt shirt and blue jeans that hid dust covered cowboy boots "G'day" he said with a accent

"Hello are you Farmer Steve?" Kenzy asked quietly

"depends on who's askin" he said while leaning against the door frame

"My Father's a friend of yours I'm his daughter Kenzy and I've been asked to bring you something" the man flashed a smile and laughed

"Kenzy eh? Well I'll be a bloody dingo I've been expectin ya Sheila!" Farmer Steve exclaimed and stepped to the side

"Come on in!" he said so with that I stepped inside my cloak slightly flowing behind me with each step that I took inside Steve's home

"Thank you but I won't be long" Kenzy said while looking around at the shelves full of random items and even a armor stand that held a beautiful set of red and gold armor with a matching sword sitting in a display next to it

"I'm sure you'd want to be gettin back to ya Dad" he said than he shut his door and turned to me

"What's this package that's waitin for me?" I held out the package which he strode over and took with a gentle hand and than inspected it before he opened it to reveal a purple cloak that had a familiar symbol as a latch along with a note that I knew was his handwriting

"By all things..." he muttered but Kenzy shook it off and moved to the door

"Thank you Steve and I'll be going now" than she went out shutting the door behind her meanwhile Steve stared at the Cloak Of Ianite one that was only supposed to come to him when...he ran to the door

"Shelia! Sheila!" he yelled but no there was use Kenzy was off leaving in a cloud of dust

"SHEILA WAIT" he shouted but it was no use she was gone and Kenzy was off to go home or what was left of it

Kenzy had didn't even know that Steve had called out for her as she let Spade dash away at his own free reign for her thoughts were on going home to her Father and nothing was stop her not until Spade stopped from exhaustion or until they reached that first campsite and rest to go again when they awoke

Steve paced the floor with the cloak in his hands "how that bloke be so stubborn!" he said than he looked at the note that was stuck to it that read I am gone he had to get to Kenzy but he was a little to old to be running after a young woman especially on a horse so he knew what he had to do he grabbed his red spectre key and hoped that Sparkly boy was home

The first campsite came into Kenzy's sight and she pulled lightly at Spade's reigns making him slow to a stop and heave for breath

"Easy now you ran for you limit" she told the horse as she dismounted and pulled the saddle from Spade

"Go see to the river and get yourself a drink" she ordered the horse who neighed and gratefully obeyed by trotting over to the cool water and started slurping

Steve appeared in the familiar see through box which held a ME system and other things and saw the man with the red glasses and the suit who turned away from a smeltery and looked at him with deep brown eyes

"Steve what's good my man!" he said and Steve waved him off

"Sparkles oi need a favor lad" Steve said while looking him dead in the eye

"What's up?" Sparkles said noticing his friends urgent appearance

"A good friend of mine sent his daughter to send me a package and she took off before I could stop her so I need you to after her now!" than Steve looked at Sparkles hoping that he would do it

"On it! Just point the way!" Steve told him the direction and they both left the spectre dimension and Sparkles flew in the direction she went hoping to find her and hoped to find her soon

"Godspeed Sparkly boy godspeed" Steve whispered as he watched Sparkles fly away in that direction and he didn't stop staring until Sparkles disappeared from sight

"Woohoo!" Kenzy cheered as the village was now only minutes away as Spade dashed faster and faster until the ruins of her home came into sight
