jack had been missing for 24 hours, after a certain amount of hours jack's life expectancy is cut in half, and surely hours were ticking.

finn had no idea jack was missing, finn hadn't heard from jack in a few days ever since the hospital.

jack opens his eyes to a room full of darkness with a headache he gained from previously screaming in the car resulting in him being knocked unconscious by an unknown man on the night of july 4th.

—he felt like throwing up but he held it down, he didn't want to throw up when he could barely see what's infront of him.

"h-h-hello" he stutters due to fear pulsing through his small figure.

"shut the fuck up." a loud voice boomed outside of what seemed to be a door.

jack's heart dropped, he thought the kidnapping was all a big dream but hearing this unknown voice validated his reality.

a few minutes pass and he hears footsteps coming near the room.

jack would try to hide, if he could see his surroundings.

"get him, he's the smallest one" another unknown voice said as he heard chains dropping and a lock twisting.

in the next second light peers into the room, and a shadow of a very tall man was in the doorway.

"what a cutie, he'll make us a lot of money" the man said.

jack brought his knees to his chest and began to sob.

and once again, jack was knocked unconscious from a blow to the back of his head.

while jack was in a battle for his life, his brother hadn't noticed he was gone. the night jack went missing harris just assumed he had went home walking since they lived very close to the lake, but when harris arrived back at the house he never checked to see if jack was home and blindly went about the day while his younger brother was near death.

and the one person that knew something was wrong was none other than, finn.

finn knew something was wrong because the young boy had sent him strange messages the night of july 4th, messages of random letters as if he just pressed any button on the keyboard.

jack had never done that before, and they also weren't talking at the time so finn found it extremely strange.

and once finn responded and the jack never did panic set in.

finn was looking for jack while the rest of the world didn't know he was gone.
