~ continuation of previous chapter ~

finn examines the phone, jack never had a passcode on it since he would usually forget it.

finn unlocks his phone and goes through it to see if there was any sign of where jack was, all he found was the messages that he had sent jack.

he opened the camera roll and saw multiple new photos under the folder "recently added" he opened it.

there was multiple blurry pictures of jack's shoes, but also another pair of extremely dirty boots.

finn got to the final picture and it was a picture of half of jack's face and an unknown man behind him grabbing at the phone.

finn had some sort of led now, he needed to find out who that man was, that man had jack, jack wanted to be found.

of course finn couldn't go to the cops, they would laugh in his face probably assuming it's a joke just as jack's brother did.

finn did the only thing he knew he was a pro at, used the internet.

he put the picture into google image search and there the man was but it was not just a regular picture, it was a mugshot.

his name was micheal alvarez, arrested on attempt of murder, assault, possession of marijuana, and the last one shocked finn—distribution of child pornography and pedophilia.

and the worst part was, the man received 40+ years behind bars, but his lawyer seemed to mess up on some paperwork leading to his early release.

he was only in prison for 4 years.

finn did some more reasearch and found this mans family, he had 4 kids that were all teenagers and an ex-wife.

along with all that information, he found their address in none other than Derry, Maine.

if anyone knew where that awful man was that had jack, it would most definitely be that family.

finn set out to go find their house he would not give up on jack until he found the young boy, dead or alive.
