First period was done and I was already exhausted. After getting some help with my worksheet by my generous classmate who won't stop making sounds with her bubblegum which was really annoying, I was done by the time the bell rang. I was the second one out since Tyler was the first. He didn't like attending school and I don't get why he's even here. His brain is probably the size of a donkey's brain.
I gripped my bag tightly and pushed pass people to quickly get to my locker. I need to get my books for English but of course, someone just had to stop me. And guess who it is. Yes Queen, grace us with your skank scent.
"Emma." Pearl's annoying voice called out as I was a few feet away from my locker. I mentally groaned. Why me? Out of all the students here, she picks me. Why?!
I slowly turned around to face the bitch. Sorry I meant Pearl. I swear, I meant Pearl!
Not.
"Hello." I mumbled, adjusting my bag on my shoulder.
"I need you to do something for me." She smirked as she placed both her hands on her hips. I looked behind her and to my utter surprise, her minions weren't following her. I raised my eyebrows with a small chuckle before looking back at her. She was looking at me expectantly and I realized I haven't answered her yet.
"What do you want from me?" I asked suspiciously.
She handed me a stack of papers from her hands and shoved it against my chest. I stumbled back slightly and looked down at the papers with a frown. "And this is...?"
"Do you mind if you do this for me?" She asked with a pout.
Is she for real?
"Uh...no than-" I stopped mid-sentence when I saw the glare she send my way. "I mean sure, whatever you need."
She forced a smile. "Hm thanks hun. The project is due tomorrow so I better see it completed and an A when I receive it back from the teacher. I'm I clear?"
"Crystal." I nodded.
She smirked and pointed her finger at the papers I was gripping. "Oh and don't forget to write my name on it."
Oh sure. You like bitch in cursive or bold?
"Of course. Wouldn't want the teacher giving me credit since I'm the one whose doing all the work right?" I said with a grimace.
She smiled sweetly and tilted her head. And by sweetly, I mean sourly. "Thanks Emmy."
She flipped her hair, smacking me right on the face, before going back to her locker where her minions were standing giggling. I sighed deeply before turning to get my book for the next class.
Why am I letting her do this to me? She always bullies me and I do nothing. Absolutely nothing! I mean, there was only this one time when I accidentally set her hair on fire. I was yelling 'I'm sorry' the whole time because I felt guilty while she ran around the room screaming her throat out. But then after a while I couldn't help myself but laugh at the situation so I started singing 'THIS GIRL IS ON FIRE!'
Good times.
A tap on my shoulder snapped me out of my thoughts. I turned around to face a girl around my age, staring at me intensely. I did the same, hoping she would say what she wanted and go. But she just stared.
Okay then.
"Can I help you?" I asked politely.
She grinned and held out her hand for me to shake. "Sorry, I'm in your math class so I thought I'd introduce myself. I'm Nikki."
