Chapter 15

Tyler's P.O.V

Blood. Blood was everywhere. My black wolf was covered in dry blood and so were the others. We were all exhausted as we made our way back to the pack house. We were half way to Derek's house when rouges started pouring out of the trees. They took us by surprise so unfortunately, we lost a few of our men.

Just four, to be more specific.

Anyway, we fought back. I ordered Kale and two more of our warriors to go along with me to get Emma's mother, before Derek does something to her. As soon as we reached the house, we attacked. We tore the house apart, destroying everything inside it. Kale and I went to search for his mother as the others went on with smashing. Don't be surprised when I tell you Derek was busy raping her to care about the noise going on downstairs. Emma's mother was screaming her throat out as she thrashed around, trying to break free. That was all it took for Kale to turn into wolfzilla. I didn't even have time to register what happened. One minute Derek was on top of Emma's mother and the next, he was lying on the floor with his neck twisted in an odd angle. Even I can shit bricks at Kales behaviour.

Don't mess with him.

Anyway, after getting Emma's mother dressed because you know.....she was uh...you know.

Moving on.

We were now on our way back to the pack house. I couldn't wait to tell Emma that we saved her mother. She'd be so happy that she'll forgive me for what I did earlier. Not that I did something. I was just trying to protect her like what a mate should do. I just hope she'd understand that.

Emma's P.O.V

I was sitting on Nikki's bed when Nikki nudged me with her elbow. I turned around and raised my eyebrow at her but she stood there grinning like an idiot she is.

No offense.

"I think you should go down. There's someone wanting to see you."

Huh?

"Who is it?" I asked with curiosity. She rolled her eyes at me and nodded her head towards the door. "You'll find out."

I sighed but nodded my head. I slid out from the bed in a lazy manner before dragging my feet towards the door. Realizing something, I turned back to Nikki to still find her sitting on the bed.

"Aren't you coming?" I frowned slightly. She shook her head before motioning at her face. "I can't let them see me like this. They'll start asking questions and I don't think I can answer them." She then stood up and walked towards me. "Can you please do me a favor?"

I nodded. "Of course. What do you need?"

"Please don't let anyone enter my room. Especially Matt. I don't want him to see me for now." She said in a sad tone.

I sighed before giving her a hug. "I'll try my best." I gave her a small squeeze before pulling away and headed towards the door.

"Thanks Em. Tell me everything later!" She smiled and threw herself onto the bed. I shook my head while
grinning and quickly went downstairs. I raced down the long staircase and stared at what was in front of me. Half of the pack members here where down there talking to one another, crowding the living room in the process. I frowned before going inside the living room to see what this whole thing was about. That is until I heard my name being called out.

I turned around and found Caleb making his way through the crowd. I smiled at him and gave him a hug when he reached me.

He's okay.
