Life as Cameron's sister sounds pretty gr8 right? Being really close with the bois especially Hayes and Shawn ?. Being really popular. It sounds wonderful. And it is.
The lot of us agreed on going into the water finally. The first game we play is chicken. I hop on Corbyn' s shoulders and the battle begins.
Almost everyone was down now. All accept for Corbyn and me, and Ian and Ava.
Corbyn launches me at my best friend, but she pushed me to the side causing me and Corbyn to topple over.
Hayes POV
It's been a while since my friends left after we played basketball. I was getting bored. I head down stairs bit stop when I hear Nash and Cam talking.
"How did Hayes react to that picture that Ian posted?" Cam asked him.
"Not very well," Nash started. What does he mean I didn't react very well? I mean I guess I was a little jealous, but it wasn't that noticeable. "He's really protective. Rowan just thought it was like an older brother jealousy, like yours. She didn't realize it was a crush." He finished.
An older brother?! She thinks of me like an older brother?!
"I don't want to know what he would do of he knew that Corbyn was planning to tell Row." Cam said.
Corbyn? Is that what they were all giggly about this morning? I have to talk to her.
I immediately rush out the door and head as fast as I can to the beach. I don't know what i would do if she started dating Corbyn. What if he already did and that was why they were flirting so much at school?
Once I get to the beach, and find her group, I wave her over to talk. I could see the rage in Corbyn's face.
"Hey, what are you doing here?" She asks me.
"Oh, uh, I really wanted to talk to you. I have an important question." I stutter.
"Go on..." she giggled. That calmed me a little bit.
I took a deep breath and take her hands in mine. "I was wondering if you wanted to go out some time."
Rowan"s POV
I was stunned. I knew Ava thought he liked me, but I didn't believe her.
"Like a... date?" I ask him.
"Uh, ya... if you're ok with that..." He said getting nervous.
"Sure! I'll text you later." I say and he instantly went at ease.
"Ok, I'll see you later." He said as he walked off in the sand.
I head back into the water with a splash to what the others were doing. "Hey Row! Rematch?" Corbyn asked me, motioning to Ava and Ian who previously beat us.
"You bet!" I say climbing back onto his shoulders.
Corbyn and I start fighting, each of our hands on the other's shoulders, trying to tip each other over. Finally I succeed by a millisecond as we splash into the water. I fell onto Corbyn and we both submerge into the water. When we got back up, our lips were centimeter away from each others. Then they connected.
He kissed me. And I didn't hate it, I wanted more. After a few seconds we parted and he wanted to talk to me.
We make our way to the shore. I take a look back towards the sunset reflecting off the rippling water. It was like 9:30 now.
"So, uh.." Corbyn started. "There's been something I've been meaning to tell you. I.. may or may not have a bit of a crush on you.." He twiddled his thumbs.
"Oh, wow. I didn't notice." I say sarcastically.
"I'm being serious ya dope." Corbyn lightly punched my shoulder.
"Well, what else do you want me to say?" I ask with a small giggle.
"'Corbyn, I like you too and want you to become my new boyfriend'" he told me.
I chuckle. "Ok. Corbyn, I like you too and want you to become my new boyfriend." I say with smug smile.
"Well how can I say no to you. Of course I will." He said.
He grabbed both of my hands in his and pulled me close. Our lips connected once again, moving in unison. The kiss was sweet and I could feel his smile as he eagerly collided his lips with mine. I could tell he was waiting a while for this.

"Wow this picture turned out great! Look!" River told us.
I tuned away from Corbyn's kisses, but I could tell he didn't want me to. I looked over to see the picture. It was the silhouette of Corbyn and I kissing with the sunset and water in the background.

"Wow! That is really good." Corbyn said and I agreed.
"So it's official now, you two are dating right?" River asked us.
Corbyn smiled. "Yeah." He wrapped his arm around me.
We spent a while longer in the water, having splash wars, races, and playing games. Soon we get out and have a bonfire. We gather around the fire and cook hotdogs and marshmallows. Snacking on chips and taking. The sun is all the way down now and we are mainly lit by the fire now.
"How about a song?" Ian asked, conveniently pulling out a guitar someone brought.
People cheer as he hands me the instrument. I adjust my position to hold the guitar and start strumming. I play and acoustic version of Rock Me by One Direction.
