Jin ♡ Surprise Visitor

Fluffy clusters of fresh, white snow fluttered from the pale gray sky, coating the setting below in a thick, white blanket. You stared from your window, watching the wintry scene before you, a small smile gracing your lips. The sight was absolutely beautiful and you loved the way the snow made everything it touched stand out. It really was a winter wonderland.
You pushed yourself away from the window and went to the kitchen to make yourself some warm tea to sip on while watching the snow fall. While waiting for the water to boil your thoughts started to wander. Your train of thought headed straight for your idol boyfriend, Jin.
You missed him. It had been a while since you last saw him, at least three months. Jin hadn't had time to come and visit or have any date nights, but that was okay. You fully understood that he had interviews to do, songs to record, fans to please, and dance practices to attend, it was his job and he loved it. However, that didn't prevent you from missing him. It was difficult at times, but you always pulled through, thinking of Jin's smiling face on stage and that was enough to get you by.
Your thoughts were interrupted by the sound of your phone ringing from its position on the kitchen countertop, the familiar chime making you spring into action and grab the device. Jin's stunning face showed up on the screen, the sight making a fond smile grace your lips. You answered the call without a second of hesitation.

"Jin." You answered enthusiastically.
"Hello, sweetheart."
"I was just thinking about you."
"You were? That must be why I'm tired."
"What?" You questioned with a light chuckle.
"Because I've been running through your mind." He responded.
"Oh my gosh, Jin." You facepalmed but laughed anyway.
His all-too-familiar squeaky windshield wiper laugh erupted from the receiver, the joyous sound warming your heart. You adored his silly jokes so much, almost as much as his laugh.
"I miss you so much." You found yourself saying.
"I miss you too, my love."
The line went quiet for a few seconds and you decided to lighten the mood.
"So, what are you doing right now?"
"Hanging out in the studio. What about you?"
"Making some tea. It's snowing outside right now. It's so beautiful." You told him while gazing out the window.
"It's snowing here too. I've been watching it all morning." He paused for just a moment. "Oh. I'm really sorry but I have to go now, sweetheart. They need me."
"Oh. Okay." Your heart sank. "I love you, Jin."
"I love you too, Y/n." He said before ending the call.
You heaved a sigh, slumping against the wall. You were so thankful you were able to speak to your boyfriend, but it wasn't long enough and you didn't know when you'd be able to talk to him again. It's not often he has time for phone calls.

You finished making your tea and sat down at the table by the window, turning your attention back to the scene outside, watching the snowflakes continue to fall and collect on the ground. You glanced over at the framed picture of you and Jin sitting on the table, running your finger over the frame while gazing at it thoughtfully.
Just then, your phone buzzed signaling you had received a text. Picking it up, you flipped it around to see who it was.

It's cold outside

Your brows pulled together in confusion as you looked at the text, rereading it a couple times before typing a response.

Could you let me in?

You read the text and jumped up from your chair, scrambling to the living room window.
You were met with the sight Jin standing outside holding his phone in his hand. Your heart jumped at the sight. He noticed your presence in the window, glancing up at you and waving.
You bolted to the front door as fast as you possibly could, pulling it open to find the man you had been longing to see standing on your doorstep. As soon as Jin stepped inside your home, you attacked him with a bear hug, practically latching onto him.
"I missed you so much." You murmured into his shirt, squeezing him tightly.
"I missed you too, princess." He stroked your hair.
"I thought you were busy."
"I'm off for a week. I thought maybe I'd spend it hanging out with my beautiful girlfriend."
"Jin." You gushed, burying your head further in his chest.
You inhaled his scent that you hadn't smelled in so long—he was wearing your favorite cologne. Oh, how you missed it.

You brought him into the kitchen and poured him a cup of tea, bringing it over to the table by the window.
"I'm so glad you showed up. I was really missing you today, more than usual."
"I was really missing you too." He said reaching across the table to grasp your hand.
"So, what's been going on?" You asked him.
"Well, we've been practicing a lot, you know we're getting ready for the comeback and all."
You nodded, knowing how much practice and preparation goes into their comebacks.
"We've been getting ready for that. We'll have to promote the new album for a few weeks after it's out. Then, we should get a little break after that." He explained, taking a sip of tea.
A little break. That was music to your ears.
"That's great. I hope I get to see you more."
"You will." He smiled. "Don't worry. I'm going to make sure you get to go to a bunch of our concerts. I'm also going to see if you can watch us practice."
"That would be so cool." You smiled.
"I'll try not to show off too much when you come down."
"Oh please, Jin." You rolled your eyes with a soft chuckle.
"I'm kidding." He laughed.
A brief silence settled over the two of you while you did nothing but gaze across the table at him.
"I really did miss you."
He gave your hand a light squeeze. "I know."
"So, what do you say we take advantage of this situation and watch some movies?"
"As long as I get to spend time with you I'm happy." He winked.
"You're so cheesy." You rolled your eyes, letting out a light chuckle. "But it's okay because that's your charm and I love you for it."
"I love you too, darling."
