Chapter 71

Norae ended up crying herself to sleep last night. It has been ages since the last time she cried that much. And there she was at school with her eyes swollen.

Norae: Ugh!! I shouldn't have cried so much last night. Now my eyes hurt. Sigh.. It's still a bit too early, maybe I should take a stroll around before going to the classroom.

Sungpyo just arrived at the campus and immediately saw Norae walking towards the Humanities building. He stride fast to follow her.

Sungpyo: Norae, wait up!

Norae: Sungpyo Oppa, it's you. Good morning.

Sungpyo: Good morning. You are here early.

Norae: (looked up to him and smiled) Yeah, I woke up early before my alarm.

Sungpyo: What happened to your eyes? Why are they so swollen? Are you okay?

Norae: A-ahh hahaha, (rubbed her eyes coyly) I just slept late last night. I'm fine.

Sungpyo: ..... Okay. Ahm, Norae.. can I ask you something?

Norae: Sure Oppa, What is it?

Just in time, Seol-a saw them and immediately called out to Norae.

Sungpyo: I was just wonderi---

Seol-a: Norae!!

Both of them looked at Seol-a's direction with Sungpyo looking blank while Norae was blushing.

Norae: (why does she always have to be this beautiful every morning) Seol-a. (cheerfully smiling to hide her admiration) Good morning!

Seol-a: (smiled back at her lovingly then looked at Sungpyo wiping off the smile) Hello.

Sungpyo: Hey.

Seol-a: It's almost time for class lets go Norae.

Norae: Oh, yeah lets go. Oppa we'll head now to our classroom.

(Seol-a still looking at him blankly)

Sungpyo: A-ahh.. right. Ok. See you around. (smiled at Norae)

Norae: (smiled back) Ok. Lets go Seol-a.

Seol-a: .... ( grabbed Norae's hand and they walked to their classroom hand in hand)

Watching them afar...

Sungpyo: They really are close. .... Sighhh (turned his back and started walking to his department building)

While walking....

Norae: (blushing, looked at their hands together then she suddenly remembered Seol-a's nails got shorter.) You cut your nails?

Seol-a: (looked at Norae shyly, scratching her face) Y-yeah.. cut it the other day. It's becoming a bit annoying besides I might accidentally scratch myself or you for that. ha ha ha.

Norae: Hmmm.. ( I thought she loved them that way.)

Seol-a: By the way, what are you two talking about before I came in?

Norae: Oh..( she actually forgot what she and Sungpyo were talking about after seeing Seol-a) He was about to ask me something...

Seol-a looked at Norae, while she was trying to recall their conversation.

Seol-a: Really?... (said it without really thinking, looked to the ground while unconsciously holding Norae's hand tighter. She was lost in her thoughts for a moment as the same uneasiness and worry slowly crept in her again)

Norae saw the sudden change of Seol-a's aura while feeling her tighter grip of her hand. She seemed sad and lonely. A situation which only makes her want to hug and hold her. Yet she stopped herself. Why? Why are you being like this? I have a feeling that you don't like Sungpyo Oppa that much. I hope I could know what you are thinking..

Norae: (Holding Seol-a's hand tighter) Oh well, whatever it is he wanted to say... Im glad you came in. (She looked at Seol-a smiling, trying to cheer her up)

Seol-a: (Looking at each other, feeling Norae's grip, she can't helped but smile back at her) Wait... what happened to your eyes? (now she is worried)

Norae: Ahh.. hahaha I had a hard time sleeping last night. Anyway lets hurry or else we'll gonna be late. Our professor is a bit scary. hahaha

Seol-a: Right.. Hyekyeong might already be there.

Just by seeing Norae's smile is enough to calm her tormenting thoughts.
