Chapter 75

Norae just got done preparing and was ready to go downstairs. She will go shopping with Seol-a and Hyekyeong today.

Norae: (takes out her phone and texted Seol-a) I'll be going down now. Are you ready?

Seol-a: I will be in a bit.

Norae: Okay. Take your time.

She was already outside facing Seol-a's apartment.

Norae: Hmmm.. it's already getting warmer. What a good day.

Glancing at where Seol-a's apartment was, she saw her just getting out of the building. She started waving at her.

Norae: Good morning!

Seol-a: Norae, Good morning. Did you wait long?

Norae: No, I just got down here. (ended up staring at her)

Seol-a: What?

Norae: Nothing, you're just so pretty today.

Seol-a: (blushing) Am I not everyday?

Norae: A-ahahhaa.. Yes you are. Let's go. (turned her back from Seol-a, walked fast to the bus stop and whispered) her oozing confidence is just...

Seol-a: Did you say something? Wait for me..

Norae: I said let's hurry and catch the next bus. (why do I have a feeling this has already happened before?)

Hyekyeong: Norae, I'm sorry I couldn't make it today. I got a blind date to go to.

Norae: What?? Another blind date? I thought you were already dating?

Hyekyeong: Hahaha.. That was last week. Okay Bye, your Unnie here still needs to prepare. Say Hi to Seol-a for me.

Norae: Okay, bye. Good luck!

Seol-a: Was that Hyekyeong? What did she say?

Norae: She said she can't make it. She is going to a blind date.

Seol-a: Then it'll just be us. It's like going on a date with you too. (smiles happily)

Norae: (blushed) hahaha

Seol-a: So Norae, what will we do for our date today?

Norae: (face still red from blushing) Aside from shopping why don't we watch a movie after?

Seol-a: (hmm.. so she no longer finds it creepy huh?) Sounds good to me. Let's go.

--Currently on a make up store.--

Seol-a: I heard my favorite brand has released a new shade. Im gonna try it on. Norae let's hurry.

Norae: Okay, okay.. (she always gets excited when it comes to make up. She doesn't even need one. She is already pretty without it)

Seol-a was quite busy trying out the products while Norae was just looking at some lipsticks.

Seol-a: Hey Norae, what do you think of this color? Does it suit me?

Norae: (Looks at Seol-a's lips, and there she suddenly feels the urge of touching them to know how soft her lips are)

Seol-a: Well?

Norae: O-oh, yeah it does look good on you.

Seol-a: Ok, im gonna buy it.

Norae: ... Goodness, what was I thinking? (she reached out one of the lipsticks on the rack and look at it unconsciously)

Seol-a: (just came back from paying) Hmm.. come to think of it. I haven't seen you wear lipstick before. That one is a pretty color. Wanna try it on?

Norae: Oh no, i was just looking at it.

Seol-a: Come on! I wanna see it too. I wanna know if it suits you.

Norae: Nah.. Im not sure I know how to apply it.

Seol-a: Then I'll do it. (smiles to Norae, took the lipstick from Norae's hand)

Norae: W-wait!

Seol-a: Don't worry we will just gonna try it. I'll wipe it off later. Try opening your lips a bit.

Norae: Ok.

Seol-a started applying the lipstick. As she was doing it, she can't helped but notice how soft Norae's lips are. She stopped without even knowing and ended up staring at them.

Norae: Ahm, is it done?

Seol-a: A-ahh.. yeah! You can now take a look.

Norae: Ugh! It looks awkward and it feels heavy.

Seol-a: Hahaha, you are just not used to it. But it does look good on you. (smiles)

Norae: (blushed) Still..

Seol-a: Still I would prefer you not wearing them. Let's wipe it off.

Norae: I-ill do it!

Seol-a: ???.. okay.

Norae quickly wiped the tint off her lips. Seol-a stood there watching Norae did it. Upon realizing what she was doing. She hastily turned her back from Norae.

Seol-a: (What's gotten into me?)

Norae: Im done... let's go?

Seol-a: Yeah.

They went next to the movie theatre.

Norae: I have been wanting to watch this movie.

Seol-a: Me too. It got a lot of good reviews.

Norae: Right? so glad we came.

The two of them was into the movie. It was a melodrama. Falls on the genre Seol-a loves.

They were already closed to the ending when Seol-a accidently dropped the lipstick she just bought when she tried to take something out from her purse.

Seol-a: Ugh!

Norae: What happened?

Seol-a: I dropped something I think its my lipstick.

Norae: I'll help you look for it. Should we use some light to find it?

Seol-a: Nah, other viewers might find it distracting specially the ones at the back.

Norae: Okay.

They stooped down groping the floor to find it. As they were doing it Norae accidentally touched Seol-a's hand. They were now facing each other. So close they can even hear each other's breathing. Subtle light coming from the screen was enough for them to see each others faces. Norae was looking at Seol-a's lips and Seol-a was doing the same. They slowly moved closer as the soundtrack of the movie got them carried away by their own feelings towards each other. But as their lips were about to touch, the light came on and they immediately moved away from each other. Seol-a touched something on the floor and it turned out it was her lipstick.

Seol-a: O-oh I think I got it.

Norae: That's good. (stood up blushing) We missed the ending.

Seol-a: Yeah.. I'm sorry it's my fault. (blushing)

Norae: Nah, it's ok. We can always download it when it's already available on the internet.

Seol-a: Yeah.. you're right.

Norae: Let's go straight to the bathroom and wash our hands.

Seol-a: Let's do that.

Inside the bathroom after washing their hands, they each went inside a separate cubicle. Norae's on the left side while Seol-a's was right across Norae's.

Norae and Seol-a: (Talking to themselves) I must be out of my mind.
