Chapter 81

Seol-a woke up late. She had a hard time sleeping last night because of what happened.

Seol-a: ( slowly gets up and remained seated on her bed) Haaa.. I feel so tired. (Remembers what happened last night)

Ba-thump ba-thump ba-thump

Her heart starts pounding so hard. She quickly looked at her clock.

Seol-a: Ahh! Why is it so late? Norae's class is probably almost over. I have to get myself ready and meet her there.

She checked her phone. She was actually expecting a message from her but there's none.

Seol-a: You are not avoiding me, Are you? Kim Norae.. (She looks up while both of her hands are still leaning backwards. She closed her eyes and recalls that very moment when their lips touched)

Ba-thump ba-thump ba-thump

Seol-a: (blushed) I have to do this no matter what or else I'm gonna lose my mind.

She got up, took a nice bath and readied herself for what will happen later. She was infront of her mirror applying her make up and making sure she looks her best for today's important occasion.

Seol-a: This feels like a deja vu.

~~beep beep~~

Norae: Seol-a, Thanks. Heejin told me you were the one who took me home. I'm sorry if I gave you a hard time last night.

(Paused)

Seol-a: So she really didn't remember huh? (she felt a stinging pain in her chest) Ahh!! Norae, that's not fair. You can't just do something like that and not remember any of it.

Looking at her reflection in the mirror, she knows she has to do what she needs to do.

Seol-a: (feeling her heart beat with her right hand) I will make you remember what you did last night no matter what.

She went out and took a taxi. When inside, she replied to Norae.

Seol-a: I'm on my way to school. Wait for me there, I have something very important to tell you.

Norae: Okay, I will wait for you.

Seol-a: (blushed, and her heart goes crazy again) I can do this. I have to do this.

She arrived at school and was walking going to their department building.

Seol-a: (breathes in) Hmm... the weather is so good today. The school is too quiet. Maybe classes are over. I should have coffee first to calm myself. (she went her way to the school café)

Just as she was about to enter, she saw Norae and Sungpyo hugging each other tightly. Without much thought she turned back and walked away from that place. She walked without even knowing where she was going. With all the mixed emotions she was containing inside and the scene she just witnessed she couldn't stop herself but shed tears. She was back at the same place where she took all her courage to confess to Norae but failed to do so. She texted Norae and told her that they will talk some other time.

Seol-a: I saw you are with a friend. Let's talk some other time. I don't want to disturb you two.

Seol-a: (clenching her phone) Why? Why does this keep on happening? (wiping her tears she started walking again) All I want is just to be with you and have you the way I want to but why are there so many obstacles?

Norae: Seol-a! Wait! Seol-a!

Hearing Norae's voice she froze for a while but because of the heaviness in her heart she continued walking. She knew very well she can't face Norae, not in her current state. But Norae caught up to her and grabbed her hand.
