AN- This is a Percabeth in high school one shot. So they are both secretly demigods, neither had been to camp yet, and they like each, but neither knows it. Pastel boi Percy, Punk bully Annabeth! Have fun!

Percy-
I woke up, as usual, to Gerard Way screaming about teenagers. I quickly got up to shut the alarm off. I love my boi, but no matter how much you love a song, it's not fun to wake up at all. I grabbed my usual pastel outfit; light blue shirt, fuzzy pastel green sweater, and white jeans. I felt that, by dressing so light and bright in a world of pessimism and darkness, maybe I could change something, anything. But I got bullied at my last school, and was forced to change schools. The new one started a month ago, so it would be even harder to quietly become a part of the school, especially since it started at kindergarten, so everyone would already have their cliques. But I had high hopes for this school.

I had low hopes for this school. The second I walked in, the hallways were empty. Only a few kids sat around on their phones in front of their lockers. So there were apparently tight cliques. One group, a group of three boys and two girls, sat in a circle surrounding one of their phones. Most of them were dressed in camo, like they were prepared for war. But one of them caught my eye. She was really pretty, with long blonde hair tied back in a ponytail, the tips died a blood red. Her all black clothes and eyeliner lined eyes were sharp and dangerous. When her grey eyes met mine, her mouth turned up in a smirk. She nudged the other girl. The other one was also eye-catching, with a cruel face and short, spiky hair. Her clothes drew attention to her since all of them were covered in silver spikes, even her camo pants. They both got up, and started to walk towards me. "Hey, kid, what's your name?" I quietly mumbled my name. That didn't sound like a nice 'what's your name', it sounded like a cruel 'imma bully you' 'what's your name'. The brown haired one stuck out her hand. "I'm Clarise, runt, and this here is Annabeth. Those three over there, they're my brothers. Annabeth is my adopted sister." The blonde nodded at me. I smiled politely at them, and walked towards the attendance desk. Clarise grabbed my hand. "No no, runt. Let me show you to the attendance desk." She dragged me towards a door that clearly stated 'Girls Bathroom'. The blonde one, Annabeth, followed behind, her face void of emotions. She went to stick my head in the toilet, but Annabeth placed her hand on Clarise's shoulder. Clarise rolled her eyes, but grabbed my hair and pushed me away. "Get out of here, runt." I took the order, and ran out. Once I finally made it to the attendance desk, she glanced at me sympathetically. "Sorry you had to deal with the school bullies first day. I'm Drew." She wore really tight clothes and too much pink eyeliner. Cute, but not my type. She handed me my schedule, brushing my hand as she pulled hers back. I looked over my schedule; dang it, I have English first period. I have dyslexia, which made it hard for me to read. It's not like I hadn't been to schools specially made for helping kids like me, but I had been kicked out of all the ones in a nearby vicinity. It's not my fault that I have to stand up for myself! I ran into English, not sure when the classes started. All I knew was I was not going to be late for my first class. The teacher looked up in surprise when he saw me. "Excuse me, you seem new. I'm assuming you are Percy?" I nodded. "Welcome! I'm Mr. Lester. You're 30 minutes early, so you can go to any seat and sleep, eat, whatever. Just please don't eat cheese, peanuts, or do anything illegal." I nodded. The teacher seemed really nice. I grabbed a seat near the back of the room and laid my head down, falling asleep.

Annabeth-
My alarm started playing Troye Sivan. It didn't wake me up, though, because I had been up all night. I didn't like my school, or my friends. Clarise had befriended me when I was younger, and I was now stuck in her little pack of bullies. The group used to have one other member, but he decided we were too mean and left. Clarise and her brothers started bullying him so bad because of it. I got up, and pulled on my usual color choice for most of my clothing; black. Once I had put on my eyeliner, I ran out the door. My bus usually came anywhere from 5 minutes early to 5 minutes late, and left one minute after arriving at my house. I didn't want to miss it. The second I climbed on the bus, everyone tensed up. I made sure not to be mean to anyone, to even try and stop the others from being mean, but I still hung out with the bullies, which placed a label on me. I sat down at the very back of the bus, where no one sat, and plugged in my earbuds.

"Hey Annie-girl!" It was one of Clarise's brothers, Victor. I hated him. He was the one to call people names. In the group, we all had a roll, per say. Victor was the one to call people names, the twins were the ones to plan pranks, Clarise was the one to go through with everything, and I was the one to try and subtly stop them. We had been sitting around my phone, watching a Youtube video, when a new kid walked in. I noticed, straight away, that he was cute. In a nerdy way. He wore way to many bright colors for my liking. I nudged Clarise. "I want to talk to him." She laughed. "By talk do you mean torment?" Before I could say anything, she grabbed my arm, pulled me up, and dragged me toward him. She started to annoy him, and I zoned her out. It made me uncomfortable. When she started to drag him to the toilets to dunk him, I put my hand on her shoulder. She pushed the boy out of the bathroom. "Why did you stop me?" I shrugged. "I just didn't want to see him get dunked." She smirked. "My little Annie-girl is growing up! She has a wittle crush!" I punched her arm, and went to English class.

I hate english. I love books, but I can't read. I don't know why. When I walked in, 5 minutes early, I noticed the new kid asleep at his desk. And more disgustingly, I noticed a small puddle of spit on his sleeve. I rolled my eyes and poked him to wake him up. "You drool when you sleep." I growled before sitting down. Mr. Lester smiled at us. He liked me, for some reason. Class started a minute later. I zoned out the teacher and started thinking. "Hey, Percy." I poked him in the arm. He nodded at me, as if to say 'I'm listening'. "Meet me at the big tree in front of the school after school." He nodded fearfully. I smirked, and zoned back into class.

The day passed faster after that. After what felt like minutes, I was standing under the tree nervously. Why did I think this was a good idea? I was about to run when I saw a pastel-clad person slowly walking towards me. He looked so scared. I smirked. "Hi." He said nervously. "Why did you want to meet me?" He looked so anxious, I felt bad. "I'm sorry I have to put on the 'Scary bully' act. I was hoping we could, well,..." I leaned in and kissed him. "I was hoping that." He looked shocked. I frowned. I was so stupid. Of course he wouldn't return my affections. I've known him less then a day, and I wasn't the prettiest or nicest girl in the school. "I agree." I started at him in shock. "What?!" He nodded slowly. "I agree." This time he leaned in a kissed me. I kissed back, of course.

Author's Note-
Hey all! How have you been lately? I've been okay (trust me). I like writing high school one shots, so there may be a lot of those. I don't have much else to say. So um, bye!
