Alex-
"Magnus! Get your butt over here!" I yelled as I noticed he was not following me, like he previously had been, but had stopped to pet a random dog. Valhalla had, for some odd reason, decided that all modern high schoolers had to finish their education. Some new program or something. Magnus and I were chosen as the test cases 'cuz you can survive the beginning of Ragnorok, you can survive high school'.  Sure. Neither of us were excited, but at least I was gonna suffer through all this with my boyfriend. I grabbed his hand, and dragged him in the direction of our new homeroom.

I hate school. It's not the school itself, it's the fact that I don't really like the fact that because everyone here is mortal, I cannot behead anyone that annoys me. I pouted as I realized I couldn't even hold a practice battle until we got back to Valhalla because someone could die, and not Valhalla die. I decided the best way to deal with this was wait until study and get some anger out by sculpting a bit in the art studio. I stared at the clock. 30 more minute, 29, 28, 27, 26,.....
Dangit finally. It felt like the bell was never going to ring. I waltzed out of whatever subject I was in (I wasn't paying attention, I think it was chemistry?) and walked over the quiet side of the school. None of the loud kids hung out over here apparently, and I quite liked that. I grabbed a slab of clay and slapped it onto a pottery wheel. It really was quiet. I wasn't used to this; I was used to yelling at my hallmates to shut their ding-dang traps every 5 seconds. I groaned and put the clay back in the bag. I was a creature of chaos, I was the daughter of the god of mischief for heavens sakes. I was gonna find Magnus, sometimes he couldn't shut up to save his life. One of the many things I loved about him.

Magnus-
I smiled as the clock clicked down towards lunch period. Don't get me wrong, this school was pretty cool and all, but I wanted a break already. When the bell finally rang, I bolted out of my seat. "Mr. Chase, I don't think I dismissed the class yet." I blushed furiously, but sat back down. The teacher nodded, and everyone rushed out. As I was walking out, I felt a light tap on my arm. I looked over, and spotted the culprit. A girl, I think she was in my class, with a pretty face. "Your name is Magnus, right?" I nodded. "Magnus, rhymes with Swagness." She smiled brightly and laughed, and held out her hand. "Pleased to meet you, Magnus Swagness, I'm Mariel, rhymes with nothing of interest." I smiled and shook her hand. "I'm assuming you're going to lunch?" I nodded happily. I was really hungry. "I'll show you."

"Annabeth!" I had spotted my cousin sitting in the cafeteria, at a table with her boyfriend Percy. He's ok, even though he caused me to die a few times. But no big deal, am I right? She smiled and ran over to give me a hug. "Magnus! How've you been? What are you doing here?" I smiled and started to tell her about the new Valhalla high school plan, when I felt a hand grip my shoulder, and not let go. Mariel. "Who's this?" Her smile was thin, and she looked upset. "Oh, Mariel, this is my cousin Annabeth. Annabeth, Mariel." Annabeth nodded, but she didn't look entirely happy. She grabbed my arm and pulled me over to a corner of the room. "Are you and Alex ok?" I nodded, confused. Why wouldn't we be? What caused her to ask this, she hasn't even seen me in months. "Well, Mariel was flirting with you, and you weren't pushing her away." I gasped. Had Mariel been flirting with me? I hadn't noticed. "Oh man, she was? I have a significant other though." Annabeth nodded sadly. "Mariel tried this on Percy when he moved here. She's like that." I smiled and hugged her. "Thanks, Anniebeth." She hugged me back. "Never call me Anniebeth if you value your fingers."

Alex-
I sat on the floor next to my locker. I thought Magnus really liked me. We had kissed multiple times, and he even was the one to ask me out. But I guess not. I saw him with the girl, holding hands and her. Smiling at him like he was hers. I hated her. I hated him. I pushed myself up. I wasn't letting another jerk get to me. I tried to strut into the cafeteria, but I'm not sure I succeeded. I saw the jerk girl sitting with a bunch of other girls. I looked around to see where Magnus was. He was sitting with Annabeth and her aquatic boyfriend. I decided to eat lunch by my locker. I grabbed a sandwich and went to pay for it. I felt a hand grab my arm. I turned and saw a kid, about my age, with awesome purple hair. He nodded at my green hair. "Nice hair." I smirked. "I could say the same to you." He laughed. "Wanna come sit with my friends?" I shook my head. "Sorry dude, I have a invitation with loneliness." He frowned. "Ok. Well, we're pretty easy to spot if you change your mind. Look for the rainbow hair." I laughed. "I don't need to look for the rainbow, I already am the rainbow." He laughed, and walked away. I noticed Magnus staring at me. I smiled my typical "dang you" smile, and paid for the sandwich. I was hoping he wouldn't approach me, but guess what? He approached me! "Hey Alex!" He kisses my check. Jerk. "Can I talk to you?" I nodded, and faced him with a glare. "So, well, this is weird to say but-" I put a finger to his lips, cliche I know, but I was mad. "I get it. That girl was pretty, and you're breaking up with me." He shook his head quickly. "Alex no. Not even close. I didn't even know she was flirting with me until Annabeth told me she was. Also, who was that guy? He had cool hair." I shrugged. I get why that girl would flirt with Magnus, but he was mine. And now she had a green haired enemy. "I have no idea. He liked my hair though." Magnus laughed. "I like your hair." I smiled and quickly kissed him. "Good. Cause it's here for a while more, Maggie."

Author's Note-
Hey all! Sorry I haven't updated in a month, but recently I've had no ideas. Long story short, every time I came up with an idea, I couldn't continue it.
So how have you all been in my absence?
Hopefully not 100% terrible
