Starr Academy: College Life- Chapter Nine

Nine

After the show, I smiled and had pictures taken with the rest of the cast. Zander by my side as well as the King on my other side. We had several people get Zander down on his knee again like he had done in the arena, which made me blush, so they could take a picture of it.

"So..." Zander grinned as he placed his hands on my waist so we were facing each other. "Shall we walk around the mall, or do we change back?"

I bit my lip. "Can we walk around the mall like this?"

He laughed as he turned his head and winked at Chuck. "Can you get our bags for us?"

Chuck gave a very dramatic bow. "Of course my liege." I giggled as Zander laughed more.

While Chuck was gone, Zander pulled me over to the store side of the lobby. "Lets buy a goblet set or two for the bar." I laughed full heartedly as he took me over to the glass showcases. He looked so cute like a big kid about to get ice cream.

One of the salespeople came over smiling. "How may I help you your majesties?" She gave a small curtsy.

"I wish to buy my Princess several goblets. Show me your finest." She giggled at his dramatic exclamation and started pulling out all sorts of different goblets.

It took us a bit to decide on two types of goblets. I loved the little set of four and he loved the pair of huge ones. Both sets had a similar look to them that helped them work together. Zander had her box both sets up just as Chuck returned with our bags.

Without asking for it, I automatically took it when Chuck offered my bag to me. Zander frowning. "I can carry your bag for you."

I shrugged. "But it goes with my outfit."

He chuckled as I did a little posing with the bag draped over my shoulder. "Fine, but if we get stopped for pictures, Chuck has to hold it."

I looked at Chuck and he nodded. "He is right and I bet a lot of people will be stopping you both for pictures. But you can carry it till the first photo opportunity because it'll just cascade after that."

Smiling at him, I turned to Zander who accepted our purchase along with a small bouquet of white and orange tulips. He grinned turning to me and holding out the bouquet. "For the most beautiful of princesses who've captured my heart."

Blushing at the sound of girls swooning around us who lingered in the store, I took the bouquet and brought it close to my lips. "Thank you." I felt very girly right then having the flowers.

Zander placed the boxed goblets in his bag that Chuck had over his shoulder. When he turned back to me, he offered his elbow. I stayed in character and curtsied daintily before taking his arm. He walked proudly out of the store and into the mall that the medieval reenactment theatre was attached to.

Spending hours in the mall with him dressed as royalty was so much fun. No matter if we were stopped a lot for pictures as Chuck handed out flyers. Nothing really could ruin it for me. Not with how Zander made me feel like a real Princess. Making me giggle when he did acts of 'chivalry' at random moments. Withdrawing a set of steel bowls from his bag when we got ice cream so we ate more in character which caused the ice cream stand to get flooded with customers. He did everything to make sure I had a perfect day of being kidnapped by him.

Before we left the mall, we stopped by the theatre where the King stood smiling. His eyes looking a little misty. "If you must be off my dear, I bid you take care and return again soon."

I went up to him and threw my arms around him not caring if it was period or not. "Whenever you wish to have me back, I'll be there. Fair the well..." I smiled at him pulling back. "Beloved uncle."
