Fifteen
~~Hope's Point Of View~~
I turned over in my bed and snuggled up to something very warm. My forehead scrunched as I peeked open an eye. My brother turned on his side and flung an arm over my shoulders.
How did I get here or Rod for that matter? Looking just over his shoulder because I was trapped, I wasn't in my room. His mossy green walls was the dead give away. But I didn't remember coming all the way up to his room nor the ride home.
Rod body jerked back a second and I opened both of my eyes to see him blinked awake. His eyes still filled with sleep that he was trying to shake off. Once he managed, he smiled seeing me.
My brother leaned back down along his side propping himself up by his elbow. A small bit of distance between us. "So you came home and cuddled with me after the party?"
A shrug. "I don't really remember." I blushed. "I just remember dancing and enjoying the night." Shaking my head, I sank down farther in his bed. "I must have gotten tired and Ian brought me home."
"Well, I'm glad you wanted to rest with me when you got home. Makes falling asleep too soon that much better." He sank down too. "Did you have fun?"
I smiled as I nodded. "Yeah. It was a fun night and I'd like to do it again."
He sighed falling back against his pillow. "I don't think I could take another night worrying about you like that. Next time, I'm going too."
"No you will not." Both me and Rod turned to the door to see Zander there leaning with his shoulder against the doorframe. A wink toward me when I noticed he was just in his mid-thigh lengthened silk lounge shorts and no t-shirt. "If Hope needs a night out away from us, then we'll honor her wishes."
Zander shook his head. "And I'll slip another sleep tonic in another beer for you so you're not driving me up the wall again worrying about her."
"YOU WHAT?!?" Rod shot forward only to topple out of his bed and onto the door. Over top of me I might add. The covers pulling away to show me that I was in my underwear with one of my brother's big shirt over top. I pulled the hem down so no one saw my panties that sad 'bite me' all over them in red lettering with a red spandex lace top.
Zander threw back his head and laughed. "You might not want to move too quickly right now bro. Seems like your balance hasn't gotten back to you." He was even gripping the doorframe with his laughs.
Rod scrambled the best he could over to Zander and shoved him out of his room. My brother gripped the doorframe for support. "And it's not my balance I'm having trouble with you jerk. My legs aren't working right."
I started to get up myself to help my brother, but Zander sucked in a breathe and rushed as fast as he could over to me. "No don't you shouldn't be doing anything either." He scooped me up and moved me so I was leaning against the head board.
All I could do was frown at him as he pulled the blanket up over my legs. "Why not? It's not like I drank more than a beer last night. Maybe a sip of another, but that's it."
He sat down on the side of the bed. "Next, only get a drink from someone you know and trust."
Frowning, I titled my head to the side. "But it was a sip."
Zander shook his head at me. "When Ian got back to you, you had downed the whole drink. He brought you back immediately. Good thing he did because anyone could of set off any emotion they wanted to had he been any later."
Rod sneered. "He was supposed to have been looking out for my sister."
Zander looked over to his best friend. "And he did. He brought her back as the affects were seeping into her system. He even made the reversal tea with me to make sure she was alright."
