Kelli's POV:

I sat on the couch watching 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' when I heard thunder rumbling outside and froze.

I don't like thunderstorms in fact I'm afraid of them Roman doesn't know about it I would stay in the bathroom telling him I'm taking a bath and to go bed before me once I know he's asleep I go into the bedroom and hide in the closet till the storm pass, I know I should tell him but didn't want him to think I'm weird.

I went upstairs to the bathroom closed the door about ready to lay in the tub when there was a knock on the door "Babe?" Roman said.

"Yes?"

"What are you doing?"

"I'm about ready to take a bath"

"Okay. Do you want me to join you?"

The thought of seeing him naked made my hormones run wild I talked with Dr. Okey about it he said it's normal for my hormones to do that when I'm pregnant he also said Roman and I can make love but not too rough or I could be at risk for a miscarriage.

"I actually wanna take the bath by myself if that's okay"

"It's fine babe. I'll be in the bed watching T.V."

"Okay" I listened to him walk to the bedroom then got into the tub and laid there hearing the thunder rumbling closer, after about an hour of covering my ears jumping every time the thunder rumbled loudly I decided to go see if Roman is asleep.

I walked to the stairs then got a craving for some ice cream I went to the kitchen realizing it was silent outside 'Maybe the storm had stopped' I thought then out of nowhere the thunder crashed loud, I screamed then covered my mouth "Kelli!" Roman yelled running down the stairs to the kitchen in his work out shorts "I'm okay. The thunder scraed me" I said.

He sighed a relief "Okay" he kissed my forehead "I'll see you upstairs baby" he headed back upstairs while I finished my ice cream thinking about laying on the couch till the storm passed but I know Roman would question me.

I washed my bowl and went upstairs trying not to be afraid or show it I walked in the bedroom to see Roman laying on the bed watching Sports Center, the way he was laying made him look sexy I had to bit my bottom lip to hold back a moan.

"Like what you see babe?" he smirked noticing I was staring at him.

I shrugged smirking back "Maybe" then the thunder rumbled making me jump and close my eyes "Babe what's wrong?" he asked with concern.

I opened my eyes looked down at the floor "I'm afraid of thunderstorms" I answered feeling relieved I told him but now I have to tell him why he never saw me afraid of them.

"But I never saw you afraid of them"

"It's because I would stay in the bathroom till you fell asleep then came in here and hide in the closet till the storm passed" I said still looking at the floor afraid to look at him.

"During the day?"

"I kinda deal with it but I'm still afraid"

"Why didn't you tell me this before?"

I sighed "Because I didn't want you to think I'm weird for being afraid of them" after I said that the thunder rumbled again making me jump close my eyes and cover my ears, I stood there for a minute or 2 till I felt him grabbing my hands to uncover my ears and tilted my head up as I slowly opened my eyes to look at him.

"Baby if you're afraid of thunderstorms that's okay it gives me a reason to protect you and that I will always be here for you" I looked at him softly and smiled then he kissed me.

"Yeah it was but you were more amazing" he said pulling me into his arms and kissed my forehead "And the thunderstorm had passed" when he said that I heard the thunder rumbling in the distance.

"Wow. Maybe we should make love when another thunderstorm happens"

"I'm okay with that" he smiled.
