Why Do You Want Me Back?

CHAPTER 1

The sun rays hit my face through the curtain slits making me groan and roll to the other side of the bed in hope to find sleep again. But obviously nobody wants to let me have some peace because my mom called out, “ ANNIE! GET OUT OF BED THIS INSTANT. ITS ALREADY 7:30 AND CAM WILL BE ARIVING ANY MOMENT!”

“Uggggghhhh. Mom!!”, I groaned

“Don’t worry Mrs.Swan I’ll take it from here”, I heard another voice downstairs. Ofcourse it’s my best friend Camellia. 

“Thank you Camellia, and how many times do I have to tell you to call me Lily?”, asked my mom.

“Sorry Mrs.---Lily”, I bet she was grinning widely at my mom. Those two got along so well from the first day I introduced them.

I sighed in annoyance wondering why me and my best friend had to be the exact opposite. Ofcourse I love that girl but sometimes I hate her guts. Like now.

My bedroom door flew open and barged in Cam shouting like an idiot.

“RISE AND SHINE ANN! WAKEY WAKEY BABY! YOU CAN MEET THE PINK UNICORNS FLYING OVER THE RAINBOWS AGAIN AT NIGHT. TIME FOR SCH---OUUUCCCH!!”

“Shut up you idiot I am awake don’t have to burst my earbuds!”, I shouted back pinching her leg as she was jumping on my bed! “You’re selecting my outfit for school or I do it?”

“Don’t be silly Ann. I do it every day so I’am going to do it today too.” I wonder why she didn’t add a ‘duh’ to it too.

“Okay do it I’ll go take a shower”

Okay so let me officially introduce myself to you. I’am Annie Swan, just turned 17 3 months back. I have brown wavy hair which goes back till the mid of my back, blue eyes and an hourglass figure thanks to my Mom’s and Camellia’s strict dieting and regular exercise from the age of 16. Unfortunately I have the tendency to grow fat if I don’t exercise regularly which totally sucks. [A/N: I am rambling oviously sorry :P]

I took 20 minutes to wear off my sleepiness under the hot shower and stepped out of the bathroom in a towel. I saw my outfit for today laid on the bed. I wore the pair black of skinny jeans and the white top with florals on it which Cam had selected for me. I kept my make up minimal with a bit of mascara and some pink lipgloss. I did my hair in a messy side-braid. I looked at my phone to see it was already 7:55 which means “our school ride” Andrea, my another very close friend  will be here in 5 minutes. I put on my strappy white sandals and rushed downstairs to see Mom and Cam talking animatedly. I swear mom became a child sometimes. I took an apple from the kitchen and gushed down my milk.

“Now now now. Slow down baby girl”, my dad peered out of the newspaper in front of him. “Are u trying to choke yourself Annie?”

“Morning Dad. And I’am late Andrea will be he-.” I was cut off by the long honks of Andrea’s car. “See Dad. She is always so punctual. Anyways see you later. Love you.” I kissed my Dad’s cheek and ran out of the dining room.

“Love u too honey.”

“Let’s go Cam. Byee Mom love you.” I held Cam’s hand and rushed out to Andrea’s car.

My mom waved from the door,”Bye honey,”  as I sat in the passenger seat and Cam in the backseat of Andrea’s open hood Chevy.

“Hey Andy.” Both me and Cam greeted her at the same time.

“Hi to you too. I got exicting hot shot news. There is a new guy in town and maybe he is coming to our school,” Andrea grinned.

“Time to make the pledge again I guess,” said Cam
