side chapter: Kai's past before the accident part1

"Mama? Papa?" a young boy only age 4 was looking for his parents who went missing a few days ago.

"Kai it is going to be okay do not worry." a red haired male said looking down at his younger brother who was crying and picking him up.

"I miss them Haru" Kai said with tears running down his cheeks. Haruka wiped Kai's tears and put him on the ground. " I know you do, i miss them as well." haruka held kai's hand then lead him into the kitchen, making sure his brother was safe.

Haruka's p.o.v.

"so.. what do you want for breakfast Kai?" I asked my baby brother who was silent for a couple of minutes "um.. bacon and eggs." he finally said. I nod in agreement "okay, I'll get some eggs be back soon ok." Kai stayed in his chair when I left to get some eggs.

"ohhh look, its Haruka Uchiha."

I heard some person call my name. Grate all I need is for people to make fun of me cause of my family (note the sarcasm in there) i turned around to see who was calling my name. It was one of my old 'friends' her name was Emi. I hated her ever since I met her, She was always mean to me. we got into fights all the time I would win and she would go home crying.

"What is it Emi?" I say in a bored tone. I do not have time for this

"Why are you all alone? Where is your friends or your brother?" she said.

"I do not want to answer you right now, I'm in a hurry." with that I ran to the shops not bothering to look at people giving me death glares, they always give me and Kai that look.

I went into the shop then all of the people in there dropped their bags to look at me. I could hear them say that I was "a disgrace to the Uchiha name." the whole shop was quite I got the eggs and paid for them. I walked out slowly but stopped in my tracks "if you've got somethin to say, then say it!" I then ran out of the shop and went home.

"Kai I'm back-." I felt that something was wrong my gut was telling me. I opened the door to find my brother on the floor I quickly put the eggs down carefully so they would not brake or crack, then I picked up Kai so I could put him on the table to find is pulse. I knew that he had a weak heart so I had to be extra careful my mind was all over the place.

'What if he doesn't make it!'

'What will I do then?'

'Who would make me happy when times are bad!??'

'Kai please be okay.'

'I hope that he is okay. '

'i do not want to be an only child again.'

'I know my brother is strong on the inside'

I let my mind go blank to try and calm myself, a few hours passed still nothing I felt his hand getting cold "Kai wake up, we still gotta find mom remember?" his pulse was getting slower 'No!' I remember a lullaby that mom used to play for Kai when he was born maybe that would help him. this use to work when he was a baby

"Kai please you are the only sibling I have." tears were flowing freely from my eyes they wouldn't stop. I never cried in front of him not once. I felt his pulse slowly going "Kai fight it, I know your strong so please." kai's life time was nearly over....

"I will miss you little brother..."
