Lucy and the others where walking to an unknown place after everyone has recovered from the sock that Lucy was actually alive again. "hey Natsu watch where your going" Lucy said with concern in her voice "Yeah ok-." Natsu then walked into a bolder he didn't look bother by it within a minute "fire dragon roar." the bolder was now crushed in to a million bits,
"I don't know what I feel sorry for the poor rock or salamander." Garjeel said to Kai "I think the rock, it canš do so much more things than Natsu." they laugh then Natsu interrupted "what's that suppose to mean." "Oh nothing" Kai said with sarcasm while running to the front of the group.
Kai's pov(flashback 6 years ago)
"Kai do you want to learn dragon slayer magic?" Akira said
"Yes big sis" I said while I held her hand.
There. was a bright light glowing around me and her suddenly we were flying very high so high that I could touch the fluffy white clouds, they felt so fluffy like a sheep or a pillow. "Big sister where are we going?" now the water was above us I was scared believe it or not "dragon realm" Akira said. "What's that?" I questioned my friend who then said "its where dragons live" I gave her a look that said 'they don't really exists do they?' she nodded.
"so what type do you wanna learn?" I looked up not knowing what type I would like to use. Then there was more lights shinning soon I could see a bright blue beautiful sky and a huge warm sun "wow" I said with amazement. "do you like it that much Kai?" i then looked at Akira "hmm." she gave me a huge smile, "this is so cool" I said so innocently,. She must come here a lot.
I went into my own little world ignoring everything but slowly snapped out of it when I heard me name being called "Kai, Kaij are you there?" Akira waved her hands in front of me "yes." we walked for hours I got tried quickly Akira picked me up "thank you." "no problem Kai" she started running then jumped off a cliff.... WAIT WHAT! I screamed for my life "Kai its ok open your eyes" Akira said with a soft tone. "you got to be crazy no way!" I shouted with tears in my eyes, "i promise I wont do this again please open then." my tears were falling upwards I slowly opened then to see a tone of dragons flying.
"Are you ok now Kai?" we landed on the ground still shocked from the height that we were just in.
"no." was all I could say I quickly wipe my tears away
"do you want to learn ice magic from a dragon?" Akira said
"does that mean I can make ice cream for a life time and a snowman?" I asked not knowing but I really liked snow ad ice cream and anything cold.
Akira let a light laugh out "I think so, lets find one of my friends who uses ice magic" she held my hand we walked again for a long time that's when we found a beautiful dragon that looked like snow and ice mixed together with needle like scales all over its body. "Wow that one is soo cool."

Her name is fuyu (a/n: 冬 or fuyu this means winter in Japanese) "hello fuyu nice to seeyouagain " Akira said to the dragon called fuyu. Then looked down at us "oh its you again child, how have you been?" I felt cold when fuyu spoke there was snow everywhere now. "I have been good, this is my friend Kai. He would like to become an ice dragon slayer."
"Well it is going to be hard for a small male human child to learn, he might die but I'll make sure that will not happen." fuyu then got on the ground "human make makes you want to become one of us?" she said with frost coming out of her mouth making the air colder.
"I want to be strong and help Akira anyway that I can."I smile at fuyu, she looked at Akira then said "are you related to the child?" she shook her head "no I am not." the icy dragon looked at me again then spoke "very well child, I will help you."
It has been mouths since then and I have trained very hard I could use the dragon roar and another move, me and 冬 have become friends now she helps if I'm in trouble and other dragons try to eat me. I have gotten stronger since me and big sis have came to this world.
-End of the flash back-
I was now far behind the group everyone was going to the distance "fuyu I hope you are well" I said out loud, "who is fuyu?" Wendy said wondering about who it was "fuyu was my dragon she helped me out and cared for me." I told her ."oh well we will find our dragons someday don't worry Kai" I nodded "come on Wendy lets catch up with the rest of them" we ran like the wind.
???'s Pov
you have grown up so much since we last met, let this be a gift to you as a thank you young one. It started to snow but the snow was different instead of light white spheres that softly landed on your skin. it was crystals with different colours and sizes. I remember when you used to eat this when you were younger so behave yourself and I will live on in spirit. "I hope you will remember now. goodbye my child. Take care of the princess."
Kai's pov
I looked up at the sky only to see rainbow snow it was so beautiful the crystals with different shapes and sizes I let my senses go free there was a softy breeze it was gentle. I think I felt like this before but where? In the sky I saw a fugue it was huge I wanted to give it a hug but why? I let my wing out then flew towards the figure. It was her! Fuyu-
I was interrupted by the shock of seeing her again. "you have grown since we last met." she said. My eyes started to water "don't go please. FUYU" with that she slowly faded into nothing then joined the falling snow and ice. I cried but then a bit of snow came flying into my hands leaving a warm item behind it was a scarf with light blue and dark blue mixed in with each other like the weather now. I heard her last words in the breeze "I will live on in spirit and help you. Remember you are not alone anymore my child."
I flew back down the dragon slayer noticed I had wings covered In the snow my wings were glowing Wendy spoke up "Kai was that her... your dragon?" I looked away from them all and answer after a few minutes "yes that was fuyu." that's why there was rainbow snow it was her gift to me before she left. I will miss you, mom take care
