"Mila!" The rapid staccato of heels against the tiles was heard even over the loud chatters of her peers throughout the halls, heads spinning to take a quick glimpse of the commotion and Camila barely has any time to react when her wrist was seized. Ariana Grande stood in front of her with excitement practically bursting out of her small body, holding onto her hands with wide set of brown eyes in a death-liked grip.

The amount of energy this girl exerts was beyond her, may it be early in the morning or the late afternoon, but Camila didn't really mind all that much. Ariana was a nice girl, after all, and she kind of reminded her of Ally. She didn't like how her noise brought so much attention to them for a couple of seconds, though. Seconds too long.

"So, is tonight still a go?"

Camila could consider Ariana a friend. She's all she really talks to in music class now that Lauren accompanies her group all the time. It's mostly just Ariana ranting ninety nine percent of the time and Camila nodding and making comments here and there though, but at least she didn't feel very lonely then.

Camila racks her brain for anything planned tonight. When she says Ariana speaks a lot, she says she speaks a lot. Like lot lot. And Camila just has this habit of nodding along when she'd unconsciously spaced off and missed some of her words and doesn't have the heart to tell her to repeat because then Ariana would think she wasn't listening, but she was. She simply just couldn't catch up with her, is all (God, she's such a horrible friend).

But Camila's trying, at least. Because God knows she needs other friends. She just needs a little work on the talking. Fortunately, Ariana doesn't seem to mind how quiet she could get. She seems to know what she's getting herself into, which Camila appreciates. Otherwise, she would've stopped trying to befriend her at this point.

Ariana waits for a response, and it was then Camila remembered. Yes, she was listening.

"Oh, yes. Of course!" She tries to sound as enthusiastic as Ariana is, but she couldn't quite get there.

Not that she wasn't looking forward to it, because she is. She hasn't had sleepovers with other people but Lauren. She hadn't had friends before but Lauren. So it's new. It's nice to know she was.. Well, making friends.

Yes, It's the last year, so it doesn't matter that much to some people. Go about their year as they usually do and make more friends in college they say- maybe. If they're lucky enough to have Those kind of friends that would stay with you for the long ride.

But at least, Camila's making the most of her last year. Sort of. She's getting there. Might as well make the year a lot less.. Traumatizing, boring? That maybe when she's older and has her own kids some day or even grandchildren, she actually has something to talk about.

She still thinks she isn't going to miss it either way. She couldn't wait to get out of here.

"I invited Normani and Dinah too, isn't it exciting?" Ariana exclaimed, bouncing on her feet and Camila smiled in mirth only to realize- Wait. Normani? Normani Kordei Hamilton? Sleepover. With them. And Dinah? Oh god Dinah. Is this a nightmare? This doesn't sound very exciting anymore.

She must've said Normani's name out loud because Ariana was nodding her head vigorously. Camila was almost scared she'd break her neck. "Yeah!"

"I didn't know you were friends with them." Camila muttered and musters up a smile. She swore Dinah had this painfully obvious dislike towards Ariana, especially when she'd purposely hit her shoulder and spilt her entire tray on her the other day- smirk and all, making it look like an accident and feigning innocence, like she always does. If that wasn't enough hint of her distaste towards her, Camila didn't know what was.
