Chapter 8

Erikas Pov
*Next day*

I called the prinicipal and he said there is no space for me to switch classes so I'm stuck with the devils. I didn't feel to good today which is abso-fucking-lutely great *sarcatic* so I wore grey sweatpants, a black hoodie with a big white X on it, and some black converse.

*in class*

I walk in class and the devils are staring at me. I just put my hood up, sat down, and put my head down.

T: eww

J: come on Tessa just give her a break

T: ugh fine

Teacher: Erika are you okay

E: *muffled voice* yeah I'm fine just a little tired that's all

Teacher: today is a free day so I'll leave you to it.

E: *muffled voice* thanks

My elbow accidentally touched Jake's arm and I guess Tessa didn't like that.

T: don't touch him you whore.

I didn't even have the energy to fight back so I got up and walked out and into (you'll never guess) a janitors closet.

Jake's Pov
Okay okay you caught me I like Erika. Yeah I know oh shit!

T: eww

When Tessa said that Erika walked away.

J: *mumbles* bitch

A: what did you say Jake?

J: nothing, just thinking

A: okay

C: welp I'm bored

T: ugh, she left her nastiness here.

J: shut up Tessa *annoyed voice*

Tessa and Chanthony looked at me quick.

J: just shut the fuck up for once

A: what's wrong Jake

J: just leave the girl alone she did nothing to us and all we do is pick on her.

T: she slapped me and told me to burn in hell

J: you made fun of her dead mom. Dumb ass.

C: Jake calm down.

A: why so protective all of the sudden, she's the person who decided to be a slut and then confessed, to you oddly

J: she's not a slut and she never was.

C: but-

J: I lied.

T: you like her don't you

J: No I don't I lied because it looked like I was becoming soft so just leave her alone.....also I need to pee *laughs*

I didn't really have to pee...

Erikas Pov
I went into the janitors closet and pulled out a blanket that I stashed there and sat down with my head on my arms which were on the desk and fell asleep. Then I wake up to Jake's voice.

J: Erika

E: what now

J: I told them that I lied.

E: why did you lie in the first place?

J: I didn't want them to think I'm soft and I also kinda....l-like you and I didn't want them to find out

That's it this is why it hurt so bad it was because I like Jake to.

I stood up and smashed my lips onto his and he kissed back, I pulled back for a quick second but before I could tell Jake that I liked him too he pulled me back in. But I realized I'm sick so I pulled back fast.

J: what's wrong

E: I'm sick

J: oh okay

E: but I did want to tell you that I like you too.

Jake smiled really big, pulled me in for a hug and kissed my forehead.
