Enjoy!

It has been a week since Red finally claim the egg as a adopted father. He's been very excited because the egg was making movements meaning that it won't be long now for the egg to finally hatch. Red was currently reading a nursery book to the egg while Chuck and Bomb stood to the side and watch Red behave like a real father.

"...and they live happily ever after"

Red said as he closed the book.

"So now that story time is over, what are you gonna name it?"

Chuck asked curiously. Red thought for a moment while looking at the egg.

"I guess if its a boy, I will name him Eric"

"How about a girl?"

Bomb asked.

"I didn't get that far, it took me 3hrs to come up with the boy name"

Chuck immediately gasp.

"Look!"

He shouted as he pointed to the egg as it began to move. Red quickly removed the blanket.

"Okay I think this is it"

He said as a wide smile crept up on his face.

"We'll be right outside if you need us buddy"

Bomb said as he and Chuck made their way out the door for to allow Red to have a private moment with the hatching egg. Red quickly nodded as he brought his attention back to the egg. He heard a small peck of something hard hitting against the eggshell from the inside.

"Come on little one, you can do it"

Red said in a hush whisper trying to give the baby bird a motivation to break the eggshell. After a while of pecking, a crack then made its appearance on the shell. Red smile at the crack.

"Just a little bit more, I know your tired but your almost out"

Red said and again the crack got louder until finally the hatchling made a whole. Red immediately saw the bird and was surprise to see a light red bird. The hatchling continued to break the eggshell until it was fully out. Red immediately grab the baby chick and wrapped it up with a blanket as he brought the baby bird close to his face so he can have a good look at it, he then discovered it was a girl.

"Hey, you made it out. Look at you, you're beautiful. I'm your daddy"

Red said with a chuckle, the little bird looked at Red and smiled and let out a small chirping sound.

"Hmmm that's a nice chirping sound"

Red said and nothing for moment before mumbling a few words to himself.

"Chirping, chirp.....wait I got it"

He said with a smike and lift the bird up high.

"You're name is going to be Chirp"

He said with a proud look. He then heard a knocking on his door and smiled.

"You can come in now"

And immediately the door swung open revealing Chuck and Bomb.

"Awww she's a beautiful girl and look Red its red"

Bomb said causing Red to roll his eyes.

"Yeah I notice"

"So what's her name? Its not Red is it?"

Chuck asked as he looked at the little bird on Red's wings.

"I named her Chirp"

"Chirp? Well, you don't hear names like that I guess it makes it rare. Congratulations Red"

Chuck said.

"Yeah congratulations Red, welcome to parenthood"

Bomb said as he patted Red on the back. Red moved away a little to give himself and Chirp some space.

"Yeah, thanks guys"

He said as he looked down at Chirp in his arms. He gently placed her down on the floor and she began to hop around trying to get use to her surrounding. She lift up her head and looked back at her father and went hoping back towards him, she gently lift uo her wings towards him to signal him to pick her up. Red chuckled and carried her back into his wings and she immediately snuggle into his feathers.

*Few Weeks Later*

Red was telling his daughter the time he rescued all eggs from the pigs. Chirp happily jumped in joy.

"Yaaay!! Daddy's a hero"

She said happily. Red chuckled as he looked at his daughter spin around with her wings spread open like she was flying. She then stopped and looked at her father.

"Daddy I want to fly too, can you fly?"

Red shook his head

"Unfortunately not sweetheart, this is a flightless bird island"

"Oh"

She said simply and thought for a moment and looked at her father.

"Daddy, why don't I have a mommy?"

Red immediately froze at the question. He then raised one eye brow and looked down at Chirp.

"Why would you ask that?"

"Because the other birds have a mommy and daddy"

"Well, Chirp I'm not gonna lie to you but I found you when you were just an egg"

"Didn't my parent's wanted me?"

She asked as she look up at her father.

"Nobody ever contacted me but you know what I kept you because I didn't want you to grow up without a parent"

Chirp happily smiled and jumped on top of her father.

"I'm your Chirp Daddy"

Red smiled

"Yeah, your my little Chirp"
