Chirp went to the center of the court and turn to look at her father and then towards the crowd.

"Have all of you forgotten what my father did? For all of you? If it wasn't for him then none of you would be seeing any of your childrens graduate or even see a birthday or even see the sun in the sky. And now you want to take me away from him all for the benefits for who? Me or yourselves?"

Chirp sadly walked a bit closer to her Father on the verge of tears.

"This... No father this is unfair,  after all you have done, you really deserve better. Nothing makes sense in this world, it's all a big pile of crazy"

Chirp then slowly turns towards the Judge and the principal.

"And the kings are all fools, where is the honor when a solemn promise? Is just a pretty lie? And the mighty mock the courage of the humble?"

She then pointed to to her father.

"Although he's just an ordinary bird, my daddy taught me, you don't need to be colossal to be a great heart, you dont need to fly to be awesome. My hero. My father. A strong man stands for himself but a stronger man stands up for others"

She said as she ran towards her father sobbing quietly holding on to his leg. Red wanted to cry but tried to hold it in, the officers were about to remove Chirp but the sight broke their hearts and the words that were spoken from friends to family was just too much. Everyone was wiping a tear or holding hands with a love one. The judge gently smile.

"I think the little one here made it all clear for us today, I hereby leaving the child under the custody of Mr. Red. Court adjourn."

The judge said slamming the mallet. The case was dismissed, the officers took off the handcuff and Red immediately lift Chirp up and embrace her in a tight hug. Chirp buried her face into her Father's neck. They remain holding on to each other until Chuck and Bomb join into the group hug.

"Come on guys let's go celebrate"

Chuck suggested after the all pulled away from the hug, the others happily agreed. As they were headed to the cafe, the Prinicpal stopped Red.

"Mr. Red?!"

He called and Red immediately pushed Chirp behind him as he crossed his arms over his chest glaring at them man.

"I am deeply sorry for the trouble I caused you and your family but you have to understand I was looking for the best interest for your daughter"

"No you have to understand, I was just trying to protect her and do the right thing for my daughter but you know something, I would rather go to jail for helping her to stand up to others than backing down and let others trampled over her. And if that's not parenting then I don't know what I'm doing"

Red said as he turned around and continue to make his way to the cafe along with his friends and daughter.

"You sure showed him Red"

Chuck said proudly.

"Yeah welcome back buddy"

Bomb said with a smile. Red smiled and looked down to see his daughter signaling for to be picked up. He lift her up holding her close.

"Did you miss me Daddy?"

She asked. Red smiled.

"Are you kidding me, your the one I missed the most"

He said chuckling causing Chirp to happily giggle with a wide smile.

"What would you like to eat Red? Its on us, buddy"

Bomb said as they looked over the menu and pretty soon the gang began to eat. After their dinner, they all separated going to their separate homes after saying good bye. As Red and Chirp got home, Red helped Chirp get ready for bed making sure she took a bird bath and brushed her beak.

"Dad am I going to have to go to school again?"

Chirp asked as she got into her nest bed beside her father's nest.

"Yes you are.."

"But..."

"But you will be going to a different school, okay so that way their will be no problems. I will also personally talk to the principal at your new school"

He said as he tucked Chirp into the bed with the blanket. Chirp smiled as he father leaned down and kissed her on the forehead.

"Thank you Dad, I love you"

"I love you too. Goodnight"

"Goodnight"

Chirp said as she closed her eyes and drift off to sleep. Red smiled as he looked at his daughter sleeping peacefully.

'Ah it's good to be home'

He thought with a smile. He then got ready for bed, turning off the lights and settle into bed and drift off to sleep.
