Enjoy!

Its been a week since they took Red to jail without a reason but today they were going to find out what happened. Chuck and Bomb helped to take care of Chirp until Red is released. They are heading to court for the hearing of Red.

"No worries Chirp your daddy is probably gonna be out today."

Bomb said trying to give Chirp some comfort.

"Then why did you say probably"

At that Chuck and Bomb looked at each other because they honestly didn't know what to say. They sat behind Red in the bleachers. Chirp gently smiled at her father giving him a small wave, Red just returned the smile because his wings were still in handcuffs.

"What's seems to be the issue?"

The judge said. The principal then stood up.

"I called in to make a serious allegation to Mr. Red"

"Under what ground?"

"As we all know Mr. Red has a history of a bad temper and he currently has a child under his care. His adopted daughter Chirp is expelled from school because of her bad temper at school, she has caused a lot of problems in just two days in school."

"What would you recommend we do?"

"I think we should take Chirp into a better home away from Mr. Red because it seems his temper is contiguous since it spread to the child's mind"

Judge remained quiet, he knew of Red's history and his trip to anger management class but also because of that anger it also lead them to help save the eggs all thanks to Red. The judge let out a sigh.

"I'm afraid I have no choice but to remove Chirp from Red's custody..."

Chirp wasn't liking the sound of it and she tug on Chuck's wing.

"Chuck please can you do something? I don't want to lose my daddy"

She pleaded with her eyes wide and on the verge of tears. Chuck swallowed the lump in his throat and jumped off his seat making all eyes on him.

"Wait! Bomb and I are witnesses for Red"

He shouted. The judge nodded.

"I have no objections, you may proceed"

Chuck nodded and looked towards everyone on the stand.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I am here to tell you today the story and the truth about a father and a daughter"

Everyone was now quiet as they listen closely.

"Red is a hero yet again. He saved Chirp when she was just an egg floating in the ocean. He saved the egg, he at first didn't want to keep it and put a lost egg flyers everywhere around the island, me and Bomb were of course also helping and yet no one came forth to claim the egg. Red was going to put it in for adoption but soon change his mind and decided to raise the bird on his own because he himself experience the feeling of lost but thanks to his kind heart, Chirp never experience that feeling."

Birds everywhere were nodding in understanding but some were still uncertain. Red was actually surprise by the words his friend said, he didn't thought Chuck would notice all the sacrifice he did for his daughter. Bomb was next to go up.

"Red here is not only a good friend but also a good father. He raised her on his own, he taught her that the world out there is tough but we have to be tougher. Red taught Chirp how to defend and stand up for herself because he know one day he can't be there for her, so she has to learn. Chirp is learning how to love and love to learn, she didn't want to go to school but he knew it was the right thing to do. So the only thing Red is guilty of is being a good father to Chirp when nobody wanted her, he taught her how to love and that's something he never got when he was younger. If you take Red away from Chirp then your just splitting a small family apart."

Red was stunned but also touched by his friends words and inspiration that can probably reach out to the others heart. Everyone remained quiet until the principal spoke.

"Your honor this is ridiculous, Chirp is still a troublesome student, she even back talked me with an attitude in my office. We need to do something about it before it gets out of hand and before she becomes like Mr. Red"

The judge let out a sigh and nodded.

"Okay so is there anyone else who wants to speaks in behalf of Mr. Red?"

No one responds.

"Very well then I hereby send....."

"Wait for me, I got something to say"

Said a little voice and all eyes were now on Chirp.
