Epilogue

*five years later*

The next time I visit my brothers grave, I stand between two people, holding their hands. Thomas squeezes my hand, encouragingly. The tiny hand I hold fidgets impatiently. She twirls in the colorful dress I dressed her in this morning, before we left.

Asket stands next to me, watching as Spencer sits next to the gravestone as if he stares long enough, his real father will appear on the surface. Dylan stands next to Asket, holding their five month old daughter in his arms. He spent a good nine months being terrified (for no legitimate reason) of Asket, but as soon as that baby girl was born, I knew that he would face any pregnant woman to be there for her.

Thomas looks at me, "You ready to go to lunch? Pip squeak over there is getting restless."

I take one last at my brothers grave and nod. Glancing to Asket, I mutter, "You ready?"

She stares at Spencer, silent for a moment. Finally, she speaks, "You guys go ahead. I want to give Spencer a few more minutes."

"All right." I say, "We'll rendezvous."

Author:

Special thank-you to those of you who have stuck with this book to the end, and endured my  two year 'leave of absence' , so to speak, in the middle of the book. I hope you enjoyed reading it!

Following this epilogue, I will be posting The Rendezvous playlist, for those of you who are interested.

I'm sure I will post more stories at a later time, since I have many ideas, but I cannot know when I will actually get around to posting anything else. If you would like to read more by me, I have other works. Please, comment, vote and follow for more updates on an new releases.

Thanks again, everyone!

One last pick-up line-

Are you a snickers, because I'm satisfied. ;)
