"Girl how was your date?" Marie asks as I come into our dorm.
"Amazing." I can't get this stupid smile off my face.
"Details!" Marie and I sit down I tell all about our date.
"Girl you are in love."
"Maybe."
"You are girly just trust me." After that I get in my pj's and text Ethan:
"I had a great time. Thank you!"
"You are welcome babe. Get some sleep tonight."
"You too."
With that stupid smile on my face I go to bed.

"RING!" Goes my phone. With a groun I go get my phone off the charger and answer it.
"Hello?"
"Hey Renae, It's Thomas. Annabel's water just broke so we are all heading to the hospital."
"Okay I will be there in 10."
"Great see you then."
I check the end call button and race off to get ready. I grab the first thing I see in my closet and put it on. A Hogwart's sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and Vans.
"Hey you're up early on a Saturday." Marie says as I walk into the kitchen.
"Yeah my sister is about to have her baby so I heading to the hospital."
"Okay great have fun!" Marie waves as I run out the door.
"Hey Renae!" Cammie says as I enter the hospital's waiting room.
"Hey girl, how is she?"
"She's great." I smile at back at her.
"Hey Ray!" Thomas races over to me and gives me a giant hug. After we finishing hugging I see mom. I haven't talked to her since I left for college which has been months now.
"Hey." Mom says towards me.
"Hey mom."
"Thomas and Cammie tell me you have a paralyzed boyfriend." Mom blurts out.
Great way to speak to your daughter after not seeing her months. Gold star for you mom.
"Yeah, he's the best. But he's only paralyzed from the waist down. But not his feet." I explain, mom nods.
Of course, Michelle is here.
"Hey Renae." I wave back at Michelle.
"Didn't know you had a loser boyfriend."
"Oh Michelle no judgement yet. We have to meet him." Mom smiles and Michelle smiles back at her.
Oh great my ex-best friend and mom are best friends now. Yay. Like this day couldn't get any better.
"Why don't you call him so we can all meet him." Mom grins but it's not a smile, more of a look that says "bring him here so we can make fun of you just like we always do."
"Okay." I smile back then walk away to call him.
"Hey Renae what's up?" Ethan says into the phone.
"Okay so I am here at the hospital and my sister is about to have a baby and my mom and ex-best friend want to meet you. They are super mean and judgmental but could you please come so they can just shut up about it."
"Wow Renae, calm down."
"I am calm."
"Deep breathe."
