Chapter 10

"What?!" Both King and I exclaim at the same time.

"You cheated on me."  Cassandra cries, looking at King.

"I've never even met you!" King says, blushing slightly.

"But...We're lovers! Our souls know it!" Cassandra says, misty eyed.

"I can't believe you cheated on me." Hiro looks at me.

"Dude, we were like seven. I thought you were dead!" I defend myself.

"And I haven't dated another girl since! I was waiting for you!" He hisses at me, his ears flattening.

"I didn't ask you to do that!" I hiss back at him.

"You should be grateful someone still wants you after what you did!" He yells at me.

"It was a mistake! I think I've repented enough!" I yell, my eyes watering.

"You cannot repent enough for the sin you've committed! An entire village of a race now dying. The girls were shipped off as slaves, Tsukiko." Hiro walks closer to me.

"It was a mistake...I was young, I didn't know!" I take a step back.

"You ungrateful bitch!" Hiro pushes me.

"Don't call me that!!" I push him back. I look over to see that King's still fighting with Serendipity.

"You should love me." Hiro unsheathes his claws. It looks like he's starting a fight.

"But I don't. And I'm sorry about that, Hiro. But you have to move on." I unsheathe my own claws.

"You told me you loved me!" He takes a step towards me.

"Yeah, when I was seven!! Why can't you understand that!" I take a step towards him.

"Hey, guys, let's not fight. It looks like it's about to rain. Let's talk this out, yeah?" Rin tries to step between us but Hiro shoves her out of the way.

"Hey!" I glare at him.

"I can't believe you've done this." He whispers and lunges at me. I duck and he spins on his heel, swiping again. I lunge at him, claws out and he jumps over me and lands behind me.

He's gotten a lot better...

He swipes at me twice and I block each time.

"I've spent my whole life training to protect you, it's a shame I have to fight you now." He continues swiping.

I dodge and he jumps at me, kicking in midair. I block with my forearms and start swiping at him and he barely dodges.

I don't want to kill him...I have to control my strength a little bit better. I'll defend.

He swipes and kicks at me and I keep moving back. Rin yells at us to stop but I don't really listen.

She's right, I should end this quickly.

He attacks me with a palmstrike and a kick but I block them both. He swipes at my head but I duck, spin and kick him in the face with about 1/4 of my strength. It's enough to knock him down but he gets right back up and charges at me again.

He just does not quit! Does he not understand that I don't want to kill him?!

He jumps at me and I block his kick. I instinctively turn around right as he's falling down and kick him in the head again with half of my strength now. He's knocked out.

"Finally." I shake my hands.

"Okay um what the hell is going on??" I ask Rin.

"Um!!!" Rin looks around at the chaos unfolding.

"That's Emilia." Rin points at the blonde giant standing around King and Serendipity, who are currently arguing. "and that's Alice." She points to a girl who looks just like Elizabeth, sitting by the fire. I walk over to Serendipity and King.

"Okay, what's going on?" I ask.

"Who are you?" The blue haired fairy turns to me, disgusted.

WELL EXCUSE ME!

"Who are you? Cassandra, right?" I ask.

"Yeah." She nods.

"You look familiar. I think I've seen you before." I take a step closer, narrowing my eyes. "And how come you still have your wings?" I ask. "I thought every fairy lost their wings."

"It's MY opinion that you never think AT ALL!" Cassandra says severely. "In fact, i've never seen anyone that looked stupider!" She says.

"Be quiet! As if YOU've ever seen anybody! You just hide behind Emilia, afraid of everything!" Alice cries.

Cassandra sends her an angry glare and doesn't say anything else.

"Listen, I'm King's girlfriend." I take a step towards King. "I'm not dating Hiro or anyone else and I don't like anybody else."

Meliodas pops into my head for a split second but I shrug it off.

No time for him now.

"We'll see about that!" Cassandra huffs.

"Everyone, let's get some sleep. Here, there's a cave nearby. Let's go" Rin says calmly and we all walk together, in silence.
