Chapter 9

I open my eyes to find myself in the forest with King.

"Oh! You're awake!" King smiles at me. I nod. Suddenly, I hear a loud screeching.

"IT'S HER!!!" It sounds a lot like...my younger sister!

Someone comes flying through the trees and hugs me.

I look at her face to see that it's Rin!!! My very own younger sister!!

"Rin?!! How are you here?!! How are you alive?!!" I ask excitedly, tears leaking from my eyes.

I'm not alone!!

"Hiroyuki and I have been looking for you for a long time!! I picked up some new friends! A fairy named Cassandra, A giant named Emilia, and an Apostle of the Goddesses named Alice." Rin smiles.

That's a lot to take in...Apostle of the Goddesses? I thought that was Elizabeth...and Hiroyuki's ALIVE?!!!!

"Hiroyuki?? Where is he??" I can't control the smile on my face.

"Come on, I'll take you to him-" Rin pauses.

"-Who's that?"She looks at King.

"That's King, my boyfriend. He is- or was - the Fairy King." I explain happily.

"Hmm...That's no good." Rin shakes her head.

"What do you mean, that's no good?" I frown.

"Nothing, we'll figure it out." She smiles, taking my hand. "I'll show you to where our camp is."

"Okay!" I smile, ready to see my old friend and new friends.

King floats next to me and whispers in my ear "I have a bad feeling about this."

I pretend I didn't hear him and continue on.

Finally, we reach their camp.

"Hiro!! Emilia!! Cassandra!! Alice!! I found Tsuki!" Rin calls out happily.

There's a chorus of cheers and gasps and I see Hiroyuki sprint towards me.

"Tsuki!" He leaps at me, enveloping me in a hug and knocking me down to the floor.

"I'm so happy you're alive!!" He grins at me, his green eyes sparkling. He looks different...more mature. His brown hair is messy and his body is toned. Attractive...

"You have no idea how long I've waited for this moment." He says and kisses me. My eyes widen. No, no. I don't remember anything like this. We were never dating...Oh shit.

"HEY!!" King pulls him off me.

"OH MY GOD IT'S THE FAIRY KING HARLEQUIN!!" I hear a high pitched squeal. I look over to see a long blue-haired fairy watching us with a grin on her face.

"Looks like you have a fan." I smile at him.

"Yeah, you too." He glares at me.

"Who's he?" Hiro asks me.

"My boyfriend." I say. The whole group goes silent.

"...What?" Hiro and the fairy girl, Cassandra I think, say in unison.

"You cheated on me?!" Hiro yells at me and Cassandra yells at King.

"What??" Both King and I exclaim.
