When we finally went back home I quickly went to my room and jump on my bed laying on my stomach and I began to grumble a bit.

"Is Ricky better yet?" J.D. asked peeping in the doorway.

I turned to lay on my back and said quietly, "I don't know." Just then, Ricky slowly walked in and dropped his raincoat on the floor beside his bed.

"Ricky!" J.D. yelled and hugged him tight. "Are you feeling better?" Ricky shrugged and sat up on his bed. He looked across the room and his eyes began water. "Are you ok?" J.D. asked again.

Ricky quickly began to quietly sob. I quickly walked to his bed and hugged him to comfort him. "Hey, what's the matter?" I asked softly.

Through tears Ricky mumbled what sounded like "I don't like this."

"Don't like what?" I asked.

Ricky stopped crying and sat up a little bit. He mumbled something so I had to lean in closer to hear. He repeated and I heard something that sounded like "This evil man inside of me."

I quickly got up and stared at Ricky in shock. "What!?" J.D. and I both yelled. Ricky nodded looking down.

Dad came into our room. "What are you three doing? Y'all should be in bed."

J.D. began to stand next to Dad. "Sorry, Ricky was just telling us uh-"

"A story." I finished for J.D.

"Well I guess that's nice for him but you two need to put back on your pajamas and finish sleeping." Dad said as he walked out with J.D. following him.

A few minutes later we were in our pajamas and laying in bed. I couldn't really sleep, my mind was still racing about what Ricky said. Could I've misheard him? I decided to tire my eyes out by playing on DSi for a little bit.

I got up and approached to the location where I charged my DS and I heard Ricky asking, "What are you doing?" I began to jump in shock.

"S-so you can finally talk in a normal tone now?" I asked kind of scared.

Ricky looked down at himself. "I guess he decided to take a break for awhile."

"Ricky you're scaring me." I quickly said.

"Why?" He asked.

"A-are you not hearing yourself?" I asked.

"Well I can hear myself but I'm not listening to myself."

I began to roll my eyes. He's back to normal, but not for long. I thought in my head.

"I can't sleep." Ricky said.

"I can't either. Why don't you read one of your nerdy books on your mini shelf?" I asked.

"Hey they're not nerdy." Ricky defended grabbing one from the shelf.

I laughed and laid on my bed. I tried to savor this normal moment by playing on my DSi till I doze off.
