Hi, my name is Skylar. I would like to tell you a bit about my life. It is currently the Summer of 2016, and today is quite a nice day. I woke up, as usual, to the sound of my alarm. It sounded at 5:50am everyday ever since I was 13. Since I am up now, it's time to go for a run. There are days when it is cold and dark, but I am never afraid, I enjoy my morning runs. For on thing, the route I take every morning has helped me to learn my town like the back of my hand. It's quite silly, how most people hate being in the cold. On the other hand, I love being in the cold, cause it makes me feel alive and alert - and it's a lot safer to be in the cold than to go for a swim anyways. Okay, today I am finishing packing for a holiday to Paris, so I am staying home from school today. Right now I am with my two brothers; Alex is 18 and and Ash is 14. I'm the middle child, and I am 15 turning 16 tomorrow!
I'm sporty, so I play basketball and soccer. Today I have a basketball game, and just finished packing. This means that me and my brothers are heading off to the game. My team is undefeated currently, and my brothers are coming to cheer me on! Today is the grand final and my last game in the under 16 category. I will go up to the young women's category with my two best friends, Tegan and Danielle.
It's now the middle of the game, and I know what I need to do. With great confidence I am doing jump-ball, and Tegan is going for the layup. The ball went in, and half time is called. We are able to check the score, and it's currently 20 to 14, we were in front by 6 points.
Our ball on the baseline Danielle passed it to me, I dribbled down the court I went for a layup but the girl who was defending me she was a bulky girl not fat I went for it. She stuck her leg out to trip me I tripped and went flying into the wall it felt like all time stopped still but I was still moving forward. It felt like an infinity had past one leg was almost out straight and my right arm up to try and brace my landing but that didn't really help all it did was make it worse. Then impact I hit the unpadded brick wall ouch I screamed in horrific pain. everyone stopped the game and came rushing over the ref called for a nurse.
