I wake up to a plain white room smelling sterile and the beeping of something see my friends Danielle and Tegan and Alex staring at me how long have I been out? they say a couple of days the doctor walks in,well hello skylar great having you awake now. I go to scratch my head my finger is connected to some monitor thing the doctor continue saying you will need surgery. Okay I say how bad is it there's only one break in your arm thankfully, but it's close to your elbow so you will have a long arm cast above your elbow but not so good news for your leg though while you were out we popped you knee back in place and took X-rays of the leg. pulling the blankets down revealing a very swollen ballon of a leg purple in the toes because of pooling of the blood wrapped up in a compression bandage very neatly wrapped. I catch you have broken it in four different places my eyes swell up in tears streaming down my face realizing that I'm supposed to be in Paris right now same with Alex. you okay sis Alex called out okay I reply . I go into surgery the next day all I remember talking to the person who drugged me to get knocked out then I was out like a light I told the doctor I wanted a sky blue leg cast and a lime green arm cast. Woke up with a good morning from someone visiting me then I realized that it was my coach and my team. I was still half asleep but still realizing that i am not in Paris my eyes swell up in tears i try and blink the tears away but just bring more tears Alex asked why are you crying? I reply sorry I've caused so much trouble making you stay from out trip to Paris and i even missed my birthday im just a waste of your time.Alex replies its not that big of a deal we can rearrange the trip for a later date just you and me ! when you get better of course so just hurry up and heal okay? okay so tomorrow i have my surgery on both my arm and leg in the morning.
