I lie on my concrete slab of a bed, tossing and turning. No matter what I do to forget it... my thoughts keep running back to what Mary told me. Who do I believe? Mary... or Alana. 2 year bestie... or new friend? The answer seems obvious but something is throwing me off. I don't think Alana would be capable of that. Right? Right...?
"Oh good! You're awake!" Speaking of Alana, here she is.
"Oh um hi Alana..."
"What's wrong...?"
"Oh uh nothing..."
"Look Bella, if you're freaking out over the escape plan, we got this!"
"Haha, yeah right,"
"I still don't think you're ok... but if you insist..."

Evil Nurse POV:
"What?! You can't possibly mean that you think Bella is ready to leave.... she's practically a cuckoo clock, talking to all her little dead friends!" I shiver at the thought of Mary and Alana coming back to life.
"Nurse Vina. I'm your boss and you need to respect my decisions. After monitoring her behaviour I have found that Bella is quite normal. In fact, she may have been from the moment she got here. She just has a special ability known as undemia, the ability to talk to the dead."
"Well, all this talk of talking to the dead, one would think you're insane..." I mutter under my breath.
"What was that?"
"Nothing, I'll just go tell her now..."

Crash! I am awakened by my door hitting the wall as it is slammed open.
"Now, I personally don't agree with this decision at all, but the boss says you're good to go, you'll be leaving the day after tomorrow."
"Really?! You aren't having me on?!"
"No! Just pack your stuff or something!" With that, the evil nurse exits my room.
"Mary, Alana!"
"What is it?!"
"What happened?!"
"I'm going to be out of this place the day after tomorrow!"
"That's great!"
"Yes Alana, Bella, it's great! Except we have no time to make our plan perfect anymore!"
"It's ok Mary, I thought of a foolproof one last night!"
"Sure you did..."
Alana ignores Mary and unfurls her plan to us.
