I fall onto the bed laughing. I can her her pounding on the door and screaming at me to open it. But I don't think I will open it... wait a second, I know I won't open it. She sounds so funny out there... kind of like an angry goat... ha! Just then someone walks through the door. You know, the closed door. The locked door. Eh, I don't think much of it, I mean can't most people do that? You know, walk through walls... hmm now come to think of it, why hasn't The Wicked "Nurse" of the West tried that? It would make more sense than throwing a tantrum like a two year old.
"Did you hear anything I just said?" All of a sudden a voice cuts through my thoughts, it's the person, a young woman I now see, and she's not looking too happy with me.
"Oh we-" I barely manage to say anything before she cuts me off again.
"Puh-lease, I know you weren't listening to me so let me repeat myself: Why are you so naughty? It's easier to be good." She says in a matter-of-fact tone.
"Actually, I'm not naughty, I'm just not all that good. So there. Besides, what would you know?" I reply with venom in my voice.
"You're right you're not naughty you're just plain cheeky." She says smugly. " And as for what I would know... I was in this exact room when I died. I was a patient that was forced here for being who I am. And I died... now my soul cannot leave the hospital, I insist you leave before you die too."
"Please, listen I'm sorry you didn't belong here and you died here and all but, let's face it sometimes people are going to die." I laugh.
"Hmm, stubborn and cheeky... oh well you can't say I didn't warn you." She says in a glum voice before fading away.
