Walking down the long, dimly lit hallway after my "nurse" the tension is so thick, you could cut it. The "nurse" seems to be on edge, jumping at shadows, eyes darting around. I think that I've scared her, but I can't understand why... I've talked about people talking to me who are dead before but she's just called me insane... but the thought of Alana and Mary talking to me seems to genuinely terrify her.
"In, and sit." Her voice cuts through my thoughts, and I realise that we've reached the punishing room.
"What do you have to say for yourself?" She says, very impatiently.
"About Alana and Mary? Well Mary's been talking to me ever since I got here, when I was ten, but Alana only started talking to me a week or so ago. They told me about their deaths, and the other deaths in room 202, and" I'm about to mention the escape plan when I remember that she'll probably put me on lockdown so I can't leave the building if she finds out.
Once again, she seems nervous, and scared, but tries to mask it by lashing the strap onto my hand 3 times.
"Well if that's all..." she starts to say, but I cut her off before she can finish.
"Well actually," finally I can take it no longer, I have to share the story...
"One of my foster homes was filled to the brim with cats, some very vain, although they had no cause to be, but even the vainest was less self-centered than you! Ha! I've been waiting to say that since my second time in here" I promptly burst into a fit of giggles but my "nurse" doesn't find it funny, and proceeds to give me the strap five more times. Five!
Oh well, like I've told you before, I only don't like the punishing room because of the blaring light.

"Ok so, I just thought of something" Alana appears out of the blue into my room.
"A. La. Na. STOP DOING THAT!!" I'm already on edge but this was the final straw.
"Doing what?" Alana seems genuinely confused.
"Appearing randomly out of the blue without any warning you're here!"
"Oh yeah... I forget you're not used to things like that..." Alana admits sheepishly.
"Whatever, anyway, what did you think of?"
"Well, all the mysterious deaths happen just before the person is set to leave.... and judging by the fact no one's given any hints to thinking you're not insane, that gives us at least a couple months to make up a foolproof plan!" Seeing my stare she quickly corrects herself "Well I mean we don't need a couple months, and we're getting you out of here ASAP!"
"Thanks Alana"
"No problem, anyways see ya!"
"Bye"

"Hey Bella... can I talk to you?" Mary shuffles in... looking at her feet.
"Sure, what about?"
"It's secret, just between you and me, not even Alana can know!"
"Ok... now go ahead! Spill!"
"Well see the thing is I've been getting bad vibes from Alana... at first I brushed it off as jealousy, I didn't like seeing you having so much fun without me... but now I realise it's something more serious... much more serious..."
