"Nooooooooo! I don't want to!" I scream at the top of my lungs as my awful "nurse" tries to pull some clothes on me (even though I'm 12 and can dress myself) and get me to breakfast.
" Gah! Do you have to be so difficult? You have to eat. Plus breakfast's the most important meal of the day."
"Actually it's not." I reply smugly.
"Pshaw! Who told you that?" She looks down at me unapprovingly.
"My Mum did, yesterday. She said all meals are of equal importance." I say in a singsong voice.
" Your mother is dead. You're old enough to know that."  My "nurse" tsks.
"Well she still comes to visit me!" My voice quakes at the mention of my dead parents.
"Oh you know what, starve yourself for all I care!" And  with that she stomps out.
As soon as the door bangs shut behind her I crawl under my covers and I sob. I stay here for what seems like an age before my parents show up.
"Argh! That awful lady! Treating my baby like this!" My Dad yells.
"I-I'm o-ok r-really." I say in between sobs.
"Aww, I'm sorry dearest." My Mum speaks now, "But if it makes you feel better I brought biscuits!"
"Thanks Mum!" I engulf her in a big hug.
