Chapter Six: Why?

Levi was drunk.

Piss drunk.

Hange offered to stay at Erwin's, so he dropped her off. He went to a bar and fucking lost it. He had three glasses of wine, four shots, and one beer. He stumbled back into his car and somehow, made it to the house.

He fumbled with the keys and opened the door. He saw Eren on the sofa with an envelope in his hands and immediately went over to him.

"What's that?" Levi slurred. As soon as Eren heard him slur, his bright hopeful eyes turned into gloomy scared eyes.

Eren then tried to wave the envelope off, pretending it wasn't important.

"It's nothing Levi!" Eren said, trying to hide the envelope somewhere.

"Eren, give me the envelope." Eren's entire body slumped and he just accepted his fate. Levi took the envelope and read it over.

Eren tensed up as soon as he saw Levi look in his way. Levi moved closer to him and Eren could smell the alcohol on his breath.

"I thought I told you to stop sleeping around, Eren!" Levi yelled at Eren.

"Levi, I swear to you, I wasn't! Some random person dropped it off today! I don't know who it was!" Eren said in defense.

"Lies."

Levi punched Eren and he fell to the ground. Eren held his stomach with both of his hands and started to cry. Levi was beating on him like he was a dog. He kicked him on the sides repeatedly. Eren eventually started to bleed. The physical abuse didn't even hurt anymore. It was the mental abuse that hurt him the most.

He was calling him names such as slut, whore, and worse. Levi stopped and then grabbed Eren's arm to raise him up.

"Get yourself cleaned up." Levi slurred at Eren.

He then left upstairs and left a bleeding, hurt, and emotionally done Eren. He hurt so much. But he wasn't going to complain. This was nothing to him. He's been through worse.

Levi's been through worse. So he didn't see why he was complaining. Kenny has hurt Levi worse than what just happened. Levi used to not be able to walk for a day after what Kenny did to him. Eren used to have to skip school to take care of him.

Eren was let off easy. He was fine. Eren weakly got up and thankfully, there was no blood on the floor. There was only blood on Eren. He frowned and fully stood up to make it over to the stairs.

It took sometime for Eren to get up the stairs. It took around two to three minutes. He then literally dragged himself into the bathroom and started the shower. He didn't even wait for the water to warm up. He stripped of all his bloody clothing and carefully went into the shower.

He had to hold onto the wall the entire time so he could wash up. Eren successfully washed up and almost crawled out of the shower. He wrapped a towel around his waist and limped all the way back to his room.

Truth be told, Eren didn't want to see Levi again. He wanted to be alone for the night. He knew what would happen.

Levi would apologize, Eren would forgive him, and the two would peacefully sleep together. Then things would go in a cycle again.

Over and over and over again. Eren couldn't take it sometimes. Levi kept doing it and expected everything to be good and fine. Eren was slowly, but surely, slipping off of his conscious. He was going to go crazy if the same thing kept happening. He was going to break.
