Eren was terrified. No words could explain how horrible this felt.

Reiner looked amused at his horror somehow. He thought this was funny! Eren tried to scurry away from the man and run as fast as he could to the stairs, but he ended up getting kicked down anyways.

"Why do you think you can escape me?" Reiner asked in amusement.

Eren didn't reply and just breathed heavily in defeat.

"Why do you think it's so easy in your weak pathetic little mind, huh?" Reiner asked more agitated.

Eren's breath was even more ragged. His arms and legs felt like noodles, his nose runny, and he could barely think.

Reiner grunted in agitation and gripped him by the hair lifting him up off of the cold ground.

"Mark my words. You can't leave. You won't leave." Reiner explained slowly.

Eren wiped his runny nose and looked up at Reiner with venom in his eyes.

"You're wrong." Eren replies back strongly.

Reiner's eyebrow raised angrily. "Oh, am I—"

"YES! You're wrong! Completely wrong! I know he's out there for me, I know I'm getting out of here, and I know you won't win this fight!" Eren exclaimed.

Reiner then slammed his fist into his stomach and silenced him.

"If you really think he's gonna save you then I'll just kill him before he can." Reiner said with a sinister smile.

Eren smirked. "You're little mind games don't work with me anymore. I know you'd never kill him, you coward."

Reiner etched an evil wide smirk and placed his hands behind his back. "You're right. But as I told you before, my men would."

"Go and hide behind your men. They don't stand a chance at all." Eren spitefully said.

"Damn it, Mike! Open the door!" Levi shouted.

Hange nervously twitched and looked around. Erwin, as usual, was calm and grabbed Levi's shoulder.

"Maybe shouting on the door won't bring him out." Erwin calmly suggested.

Levi sighed and brought his hand off of the hard wood door.

"Well, what should we do?" Levi asked harshly.

A high, nervous voice then caught the attention of the two men's palpable tension.

"Um, should I just call him?" Hange asked with an unsure smile while shrugging her shoulders.

Levi facepalmed and Erwin shook his head in disappointment and laughed at Levi's behavior.

"Sometimes I forget those exist." Erwin said with a smile.

Hange then ringed up Mike and sure enough he picked up.

"Hey— oh! Yeah, he's right here." Hange then passed the phone over to Erwin with her usual energetic smile.

"No. We need you here now. Yes, right now." Erwin said in an annoyed tone as he talked with Mike on the phone.

"Yes, it's important! Get up." Erwin then hung up the phone and handed it back over to Hange.

The three then heard a click at the door and a towering Mike appeared.

"You look tired." Levi pointed out.

"Thanks, Captain Obvious." He answered back drowsily.

"Look, we don't have much time to do this. I'm trying not to break down right now and it's pretty damn hard to do so! So, will you help us, please?" Levi asked in a hard-to-control tone.
