Once their aircraft finally landed, people were brought off in groups of 10,000, where the injured were taken to the hospitals and the others were brought to their temporary homes, which were skyscrapers that were condensed into a 30 mile radius. This section was one of 4, which consisted of the eastern most people of the United States, and it's name was Icaria. It was very cold in Canada at the time, and there was said to be a snowstorm approaching.

Quinn and Aubrey were now inside of the safety rectangle that Mile's security made around him. "Where exactly are we going?" Aubrey inquired while they walked. "My father left a house for me here. I know where it is." Miles walked across the landing strip, their perfect rectangle pushing through the thousands and thousands of people, where a car made by his father was waiting. One of the security guards opened the door, and let him, Amra, Aubrey and Blaise in the backseat. It was a tight fit, Amra being the one having to slam the door to get it to close.

In the front seat was a girl with long brown hair which was full of body. "Karia! Long time no see, am I right?" Miles laughed, and Karia smiled while they pulled off. "I missed you so much pumpkin." She had a thick australian accent. "Who is this?" Blaise inquired. "One of my step-father's employees. Her name is Karia Sande. We were friends since my step-father Quinn died six months ago. Karia, this is my father, Blaise and my step-mother, Aubrey." Miles answered, looking out of the window at all the people being moved to buses to go to the city. "Well, since I have you all in here, I felt it would be best to spread this news to you. You all have to promise not to tell anyone." Miles cleared this throat. "What is it?" Aubrey said nervously. "Well, for starters..." "Devi is more safe back in America than any of you are here."
