Katherine sipped her coffee slowly and elegantly, while she watched the moving points on her screen. It was a map of everything in the sectors, as well as America. "Your son is really too funny!" Katherine commented, looking over to Quinn who was staring up at the ceiling. At this point, he had lost all hope in Miles saving the last sector. He was dumb for ever thinking his son could pull of such a feat. After all, he was just a child. But ever since the day he married Svana, he knew that Miles was a vitra. Mostly due to his oddly colored eyes, but also the fact that he was always disappearing. And then Amra came along- the first person that Miles ever resurrected.

"Hey!" She threw a biscuit at him, and he jolted up. "Yes?" "Do you think he's gonna make it in time this time?" Katherine teased, and Quinn closed his eyes again. "I don't know, Katherine." "What I might do... I might let him come all the way here to stop me- are you listening?" "Yes." "I'll let him come all the way here to stop me, have him go to the very highest point of my building, then let him watch as all of Icaria is destroyed. How does that sound?" Katherine smiled, and placed her red lipstick stained mug on the table. Quinn sat up and his brown eyes met her blue ones.

"By all means." He muttered before tilting his head backward. "This is in our home country's best interest. When the real war begins- when judgement day actually comes- when it's time for this world to pay for all my wrongdoings, you'll thank me for these past few years." She shouted, her nails cutting into the couch she was sitting on. Quinn kept his eyes closed and tried to ignore the maniac sitting next to him.

"But for now, I can't let you die. There's too many things running off your soul." She whispered. "Oh, goody." Quinn retorted sarcastically. All he wanted was to get her back, then never have to deal with this woman ever again.

Meanwhile

Devi pulled Allen all the way to her house, then dragged him through the living room and into the couch. He was quite heavy, so it took her some 30 minutes to get him there. When she was finally done, she wiped the sweat from her forehead. She pulled up a chair and then transferred him there, then tied him up with her old jump ropes.

She went to the kitchen and grabbed a real knife, although it probably wouldn't have helped her. She sat down across from him, and watched him snooze peacefully. He was wearing a black coat, which now had cuts and in the sleeves. He was also wearing blue jeans, and black shoes.

Devi took a closer took and studied his face, which looked human. She couldn't believe that the person lying on her couch wasn't human. Devi put her finger on his cheek, and poked, then poked her cheek to compare. After a few more minutes of doing things like touching his eyebrows and hair, Allen began to opened his eyes. He studied the girl in front of him. Based on the information that was spiraling in this retinas, he could see that it was the girl he was looking for. Devi Malyn, 16 years old, short black hair and green eyes.

"Um hello?" Devi waved in front of his eyes. Allen looked down at the ropes that tied him up. Information about the ropes popped up in his vision. They were made in China, in 2X90. Made of Nylon and plastic. He looked back up at her. "Hellooo? Who are you?" She asked, but he ignored her and looked around the house. "Are you not going to answer me!" Devi poked him in the forehead, and he sucked his teeth. "You're one annoying little girl, did you know that?" He snapped.

His voice was smooth. "Who are you? You crashed in my neighborhood and you aren't dead. Who and what are you?" Devi asked again, standing up and putting her hands on her hips. "If you untie me I'll tell you." "Yeah, like I'm dumb enough to do that!" She snarked. "Well then I guess you don't have an answer." Allen blocked out the short girl that was yelling at him and looked around the place. He had never been in America before. It was the first country he's been in that isn't Canada. While doing so, he remembered what his motive of going there was. Miles had warned him to be as nice as he could with Devi, and that they didn't have much time left. Allen interrupted Devi's ranting.

"My name is Allen. I am a humanoid. I have come here to retrieve you, on behalf of your brother, Miles." "Wait. Miles? You mean, Miles Cavat?" Devi's eyes brightened. "Yes." "Wait does that mean my parents are-" "I don't know the status of your parents. Last year, they got kidnapped and brought back to Icaria." "Icaria?" Allen sighed at her ignorance to the whole situation. "I have a lot to explain."
