3 years have passed

Devi opened her eyes, the sound of a large crash the reason her peaceful sleep was interrupted. She got up and looked out of her window, and saw a helicopter down the block from her house up in flames. At first she didn't know how to react. 'People?' Devi thought, running to put on her pants and a proper shirt. She ran out her room, basically leaped down the stairs, then flew through the door. Devi ran down the block, towards the flames, and while she was running, tripped on a piece of metal that flew off the helicopter in the crash. She scraped her knee, and it ripped open her sweats, leaving a cut.

Devi got back up and dusted herself off, then continued running toward the explosion. When she got there, the entire helicopter was engulfed in flames. Whoever was in there had no chance of survival. Her green eyes scanned the helicopter, and she fell to her knees in utter hopelessness. Tears began to flood her eyes as she stood back up. While she turned to walk away, something in her peripheral vision caught her eye. She turned, and saw a figure, lying in someone's lawn, some of its clothes partially burnt off. Devi ran over to the person and got on her knees next to them.

They had short silver hair and pale skin. They were wearing a black coat with fur at the top. She flipped the body, and put her ear to their chest, looking for a heartbeat. "Sir? Are you okay?" She asked, putting her head back to their chest. There was a heartbeat, so she concluded they were just unconscious. "I guess I'll take you back to my house." Devi declared aloud, and while she was going to grab their arm to put on her shoulder, she noticed there were cuts from the crash on their arm. But instead of it bleeding, on closer inspection, there seemed to be wiring in the cut. "Wait-" Devi backed up from the human like creature as it began to wake up. It sat up, and the cuts on it's arm healed on its own. He opened his eyes, and they were a cobalt blue.

He turned to look at her, and she took another step back. "What are you?" Devi said, holding a butter knife out at them. The man who looked like he was in his early twenties stood up, and was significantly taller than her. She was 5'3 and he seemed to be 6'2. "What are you!" Devi asked again, and he took a step toward her. "Back up!" He came closer, before falling on the ground again. Devi jumped back.

Meanwhile
Miles pinched the bridge of his nose in frustration. It was now his 17th birthday, and he was stuck at home with his new 'team' of sorts.

After 3 years, he was certain that he'd get it this time.

The last section left was Icaria.

He wouldn't let them be used for Katherine's inhumane project.

It took a while, but after several attempts of sneaking into Ophiuchus, he managed to get in, and during his narrow escape, he was helped by no one other than the project itself.

Miles ran down the hallways of the building, while security chased after him.The alarms were blaring, and the security was shooting after him. They shot at his legs, missing my half a centimeter. When he got to the staircase, he ran into another man, about his age, that was also running down the stairs. "Who are you running from?" Miles asked while they ran down the spiral staircase. "Same people as you." The man replied, and when they reached the ground floor, the man told Miles to wait while he checked to make sure the area was clear. "Come, move quickly." The man with silver hair insisted, and Miles ran right behind him. While they ran toward the exit, the security guards closed them off. "Shit. What do we do now?" Miles stammered, and the man took his black coat off. "If you have anything metal, throw it off." The man said, and Miles did exactly that. He threw his keys on the floor, as well as his phone. "Stand still, 72!" One of the security guards yelled as they got closer. Miles gulped as the man ran his hand over an inscription on his arm, causing it to light up a bright blue. He balled is hand into a fist, and there was a power surge. All the lights in the building cut off for a second. In that split second, everything happened in extremely slow motion. In the darkness, Miles watched with his own eyes as the man jumped towards the guards, electric sparks coming from his hands. While he jumped over them, the guns in their hands conducted the electricity, and caused their arms and bodies to convulse uncontrollably. When the man touched the other side of them, they were all on the ground, either dead or still in shock. Miles picked up his keys, and walked past the bodies, still not fully comprehending what he just saw. "Come on, we have to get out of here." The man said, grabbing Miles's arm and pulling him through the door.

Miles came to know the man as Allen, one of 3 creations made by Katherine Adair, the leader of this project.

After a few days of getting to know him and his motive, Miles saw an opportunity at finally putting and end to Katherine's madness. Allen escaped because he didn't want to see any more humans die at the cost of the creation of weapons, and by sneaking in again, he and Miles were able to take another creation, Iris.

From that day on, they agreed to work together to stop Katherine.

They put a team together, together, with the people who came forward with more information about what Katherine was going. And soon enough, that house in Canada became a place for all to come with information. The final step would be to get Devi. Miles set up a helicopter, and set Allen on the mission to retrieve her.
