Chapter 15

*Demi's Pov*

I haven't seen Drakan at school lately, I hope she is okay. I know I told her to never talk to me again but I was mad because she wouldn't just say yes to the damn question!

Tina is having a baby girl and I am so happy for her! She's having an early baby shower, and she invited her close friends which is me, Harry (obviously), and Drakan. I don't think she will show up though. I think she is afraid to see me. I miss her so much. I wish it didn't have to go down this way. I love her but... I don't know. I have decided to move to Texas to go and live with Dallas, my sister. I'm leaving tonight. I just can't be here with Drakan. I just can't.

*Drakan's Pov*

The reason I haven't been at school is because I am in treatment for my problems, but nobody knows except Tina. I told her not to tell Demi cause she will freak out. I met this girl at the treatment center, and I think I am starting to like her but I don't want to like her cause I love Demi. I want her back.

I have been going to the treatment center for a while, and they think I am well enough to carry on by myself and I think they are right. My arm is healed and my knee, well... I still have a brace on it which makes it feel better.

Tina is having her baby shower, and I don't know if Demi will be there since I am going to be there, but I don't know. Demi just texted me and said, "Listen, I am sorry for the stress I put you through. I love you and you know that. What I am saying is, I'm not going to be at the baby shower today cause I have to catch a plane to Texas. I decided if I can't have you, I don't want to be here so I am going to go live with Dallas. I will see you soon I hope. Please don't be mad at me. I hope you find someone who will make you happy and that will love you twice as much as I do."

What?! She can't leave! I knew I should've went with my heart instead of my dumb brain! I have to get her back before she leaves. I have to stop her.

*Tina's Pov*

My baby shower is today and I am so excited. I only invited Drakan and Demi cause they are the closest friends I have at school. Demi texted me & told me she couldn't make it. She had to catch a flight to Texas. I told her it was okay and I hope she has a great flight and wish her the best of luck. I wonder if Drakan is coming still. I have no idea if she will or not but I hope she does. If they both don't come, we will do it some other time. It's okay with me as long as we do it.

*Drakan's Pov*

I get to the damn airport in just the nic of time! I am running on my bad knee which I am not suppose to be doing but I have to find Demi before she leaves. I see her and start yelling from the top of my lungs.

"Demi stop! Demi!"

"Drakan, what are you doing here?" She was surprised.

"I came to tell you, don't leave." I said without any breathe.

"Drakan, I have made up my mind and I am going. I don't want to be here if we can't be together." She told me then looked down.

"So you are just going to give up on me? Just like that? You are really throwing everything away?" I said once I caught my breathe.

"Yeah. I guess I am. I am finally giving up because I have fought for you and tried to show you that I care about you and love you so much but... You don't seem to care, now do you?" She said and was still looking down.

"I do care, Demi. I do. Please don't leave. Stay.. okay? Stay.. we can be together." I blurted out.

"Do you really mean that?" She asked then looked up.

"Yeah, I really do mean it, Demi. I love you." I said and grabbed her hand. "When me and Tina went and bought that bracelet, I bought an engagement ring with it without Tina knowing."

"I will stay if we can be together, that's the only way." She replied.

"Demi, I love you more than anything and you know that. I have told you so many times, no, but I really wanted to tell you yes. So I am going to ask you this right now and I hope it will be a yes." I said nervously.

"Drakan.. what are you doing.." She said, nervously. I bend down on one knee.. My left one since my right one is fucked up. People started to stare and gather around.

"Demi, I love you so much. I want to have a family and grow old with you. I want to spend the rest of my life, loving and taking care of you. Demi... will you marry me?"
