Pain

"Erhöhe die Stärke auf 10." A man in a white lab coat was watching them.

Watching me as I was suffering. The monsters.

Pain

They pumped something in my veins, my voice was sore from screaming. No use.

Pain

There was a fire growing in my veins, I felt like I was being burned alive from the inside out.

I could hear my sisters screams

Pain

My head hurt, it felt like it something was climbing inside, settling in the back of my mind.

Blue

I looked to my side slowly, my sister was screaming too.

Something blue was being pumped into her body like me

Blue

I scream again, but not in pain. In anger.

Blue

The men in the lab coats fall.

Color ooze out of their faces.

Red.

Sam jerked awake, shuttering and crying.

She sniffled and bit down on her hand, trying to keep her crying quiet. She always had nightmares, and she knew that Eli did too, they started ever since they were kids. After they escaped HYDRA they seemed to be only worse but slowly they were having less and less nightmares, having each other helped immensely. It terrified both of them to think about what would happen if the other was suddenly gone one day.

After sitting there for a few minutes Sam wiped her eyes and got up, slipping her glasses onto her face and wrapping a blanket over her shoulders for warmth; she slowly shuffled out other room and to the kitchen. She made herself a cup of coffee and sat down at the bar. She felt kind of lonely, but she didn't want to wake up Eli.

"FRIDAY? Where is everyone else?" She rasped, her voice sounded slightly hoarse.

"Everyone is in the main living room, miss."

"Thanks." She mumbled. She wrapped her blanket tighter around herself and she shuffled to the elevator with her coffee in her hand.

She pressed a button to make the elevator go down and the doors closed. She could see her reflection in the metal part of the elevator and she quickly tried to smooth her hair down, she still looked tired even though she just woke up and she looked like a mess, her hair was flipped up in a weird direction and she had bags under her eyes. But she didn't really care right at that moment, she was bored and needed a distraction.

The doors opened and she shuffled into the room when she realized that everyone was arguing again, but a new, booming voice was present. She stood by the door and watched everything that was going on.

Thor had shown up but to the Avengers dismay he didn't come alone, Loki was standing behind Thor with his arms crossed over his chest. Steve and Tony were arguing with each other, apparently Tony didn't want Loki in his building and Steve either didn't want Loki here at all or at least he wanted Loki to stay in the tower where he couldn't get out. Natasha was holding Clint back from trying to beat up Loki, who had a bemused smirk on his face.
