Chapter 13

Eli was sitting on her mattress counting the cracks in the ceiling when she heard a loud THUMP and a gut-wrenching scream. She got up immediately and prayed it wasn't Sam, if anyone touched a hair on Sam's head she would personally shred them to pieces.

Meanwhile even from upstairs Loki could hear the screams. "By Odin's beard I swear if any of your guards harmed the girls I will personally kill them all." He sneered at Zemo and rushed out the door. He followed the screams to Sam's cell and stopped, he tried to read her mind first but he couldn't sense her, was she taken? Did she escape? He cursed and tried to open the door, something was jammed in the lock.

"SAM!" He yelled as he banged on the door. He used his Frost Giant abilities and froze the lock of the door off. He pushed the door open and scanned the room for Sam, the chains were on the floor with no Sam attached to them. He suddenly felt a hand on his shoulder and a shard of glass pierce his gut.

Loki coughed in surprise and put his hand on his stomach, blood was seeping through his clothing and coating his hand.

"Whew, that was fun. Thanks, Tinkerbell." A voice laughed from behind him, he recognized it immediately as Sams. She grabbed the keys to Eli's chains out of his pocket and Loki let out a low growl. He could not believe how easily he was tricked.

"Do you really think a mere stab wound would stop a GOD?!" He yelled at her.

"Nope. But I'm hoping it would weaken you enough for me to do this." She kicked him hard in the chest making him stumble back onto the mattress. Sam rushed to his side and connected one of the chains to his wrist. "If the power shit worked on me it'll work on you. Love you, buddy, bye bye." She smirked and blew him a kiss as she rushed out of the room.

She could hear him yelling at her in anger as she ran down the hall. She laughed and fought off the very few guards at her door, honestly what did Loki and Zemo expect them to do?

Sam took the door key off of one of the guards and opened the door to Eli's cell.

"Somebody order a pizza?" Sam grinned

Eli grinned back at her, "Pineapple?" She teased.

Sam rolled her eyes. "I will legit leave you here." She said in a serious tone, but she still walked to Eli and unchained her ankles. They shared a small hug.

"Think you can teleport outta this joint so we can get actual pizza?" Sam asked

"I don't think so, this base must have been made out of some sort of material that weakens our powers, I don't think I could get further than 10 feet." Eli sighed.

"Then we do it the old-fashioned way. I bet you 20 bucks I can take out more guys than you." Sam grinned

"You don't have 20 bucks." Eli countered.

"I bet you Tony's 20 bucks that I'll take out more guys than you." She corrected.

Eli laughed. "You're on."

They both grinned at each other as they rushed out the door and got into the fight with the guards.

Sam stayed slightly ahead of Eli, wanting to get all the bigger guards down first while Eli took down the smaller ones. A gigantic man came at Sam but she jumped on his shoulders and shifted her weight to make him hit the wall and fall to the ground, she kicked him in the head to make sure he was down for good.

"DOUBLE POINTS!" She yelled behind her to Eli as she continued taking out the guards, her knuckles were bleeding since she didn't have a weapon but that didn't deter her.
