Eli was the first one to finally wake up. She could feel a cold metal wrapped around her wrists and she felt like she was lying on a hard mattress. Eli was about to open her eyes when a voice suddenly echoed through the room. She decided to pretend to be asleep so she could overhear whatever what happening, though it was a bit difficult as she realized she only had one hearing aid in, the one that wouldn't activate her suit.

"They weren't part of the plan Loki. I only wanted to bring down the Avengers, not bring children into this." A low Sokovian voice hissed, the man was talking quietly, almost in a whisper, but he could still be heard.

"Trust me they were needed. If you are going to argue with me then maybe I'll just throw you back into your dingy cell, knowing full well that you failed because you were too weak hearted." Even with her eyes closed, Eli could tell that Loki was sneering as he spoke.

"If there is a reason they were needed then what was it?" The accented man asked.

"They have the powers of the Tesseract, they are powerful and they can be perfect weapons.. There is a monster coming. A true psychopath. If he gets his hands on them and the Tesseract then everything will be lost. World's will die, trillions of innocent beings will be killed. The end will come." Loki spoke in a dark voice.

"And how do you know all of this?" The accented voice responded after a few quiet moments.

"I have encountered him before. Thanos. We need to be prepared for his attack. He is coming and he will do much more damage than we could both do with combined efforts. I freed you because I assumed I could trust you with this. Can I?"

It was dead silent again, the only indication that they were still around was their quiet breathing, "Yes." The voice responded. "You can trust me with this.... But... when you broke me free you promised that I would have my revenge on the Avengers?"

"And you will. Thanos is coming as I said. Those buffoons will try to defend the world and die trying. They will have a fate worse than your families. And if they don't happen to die by Thanos's hand then they will die by our own when he is gone." Loki promised. "Now go, I believe she has awakened. Check on the other one."

Footsteps echoed in the room and a loud creak of a door sounded like it was opening and then slamming shut.

Eli opened her eyes and faced Loki. Her hands were restrained behind her back and she was on top of a dingy mattress on the ground.

"So, you also know that I heard everything you said." She pulled on her restraints trying to use her powers but failed, obviously. She looked around the room frantically trying to find her sister, Sam wasn't anywhere in the room. Eli was chained up in a little cell, the room was fully cement with no windows and water was dripping in the corner of the room with a soft tink tink tink.

The cell she was trapped in looked familiar to a HYDRA base which made her stomach drop in fear. Was this a HYDRA base? Was Loki with HYDRA? Where was Sam?!

"Yes." Loki waved his hand and a chair appeared. He moved it and sat across from her.

"Where is Sam? Where are we?" She asked as she tugged on the restraints again.

"She's in another cell across from this one, she's fine. As for where you are... my accomplice found this deserted base, underground and unable to be found." Loki responded. "It's better for you to be here rather than being in that obnoxious Stark tower." He snarled at the word Stark.

"Oh, alright so I'm supposed to thank you for kidnapping me and my sister and also killing others in the process?" Eli sneered, "Another fact, the Tesseract was sent back to Asgard after the whole you and New York City thing, so how would me and my sister have that power in us?"
