"Ty! Where's Ty?" I screamed as I entered the house.

"In his room." My father said from the kitchen.

I bolted to his room tried going in but it was locked so I starting beating on the door.

"Ty open the damn door."

The door opened. "Calm down Jaidyn."

"Ty she's amazing."

"Who? Peyton?" He asked.

"No, Kylie."

"Jaidyn who the hell is Kylie?"

"Supermarket mystery girl."

"You mean mystery girl- Kylie just so happened to be friends with Peyton?"

"Yes."

"I'm going to tell Jess."

Before I could say anything, he left.

Within a minute Ty walked through my door.

"Jess she moved to her room!" Ty yelled down the hall.

Jess came in and sat next to me. Ty stayed standing but moved closer.

"So tell me." Jess said.

"Tell you what?"

"Jaidyn you know what I'm talking about."

"No I don't."

I knew what she wanted to know but I was gonna toy with her.

"I know what you're doing. Stop."

"Fine. What do you wanna know?"

"Everything." She said.

"Well when dad sent me and Ty to the furniture today Ty decided we should probably get food as well." I took a sip of water and continued. "Needless to say we split up and while I was looking for bread a girl ran into my cart and knocked it over. She helped pick everything up, said sorry and left."

I told her everything including what I thought and felt about this girl.

"Wait, so what y'all do at the restaurant?" Ty asked.

"We just talked and had fun. Y'all would like them."

"I think what he meant was how did the night end." Jess restated Tyler's question.

"John and Lamar were the first to leave and Peyton said she needed to go get something from her car but she clearly just said that so she could get me and Kylie alone, which I didn't mind."

"So Peyton is fine with you just wanting to be friends?" Ty asked.

"Well at first it seemed to bother her but the longer we stayed at Mike's the more it seemed that she was trying to play matchmaker between Kylie and I." Now that I think about it, Peyton's actions closely resembled those of a mother whose family still believed in arranged marriages, or in this case arranged dating.

"So what happened next?" Jess asked now seeming even more interested.

"Like I said, Peyton went to her car so I talked to Kylie. Then I ended up going over to her house and we just talked."

"About?" Jess asked with a curious smile.

"Personal stuff. If she wants you to know she'll tell you."

Kylie is actually pretty cool. She's funny, sweet, nice, cute, what is she not? And don't even get me started about her smile. It had the power to melt any persons heart and make them fall head over heels. I honestly have no idea why Kylie doesn't have a boyfriend.
