Day 11, the day before I would go home. The day before I would leave hell and finally be able to sleep in an actual bed and eat normal food. I was almost free, I could see civilisation, and I just needed to hold out a little longer.
The last day we would be playing the one game I was actually excited for. Spotlight. If you haven’t played it or heard of it before, it’s actually pretty cool. You would usually play this game late at night when its pitch black. Every single person gets a torch and it’s like chasey in the dark and in the bush. At first I was a bit scared we might get lost, but after inspecting the battle field, I realised it was just a massive square with trees inside it so that made me feel a little better.
The whistle blew and I ran into the bush so fast I slipped in the mud but that didn’t matter, I got up and hunted for the best hiding spot I could find. I teamed up with a few of my friends and hid behind a bunch of trees. We were there for about 10 minutes and no one had found us. Then we started to hear weird noises in the distance but we put it out of our minds. 20 minutes passed and no one was in sight except for the noises. We then really started to shit ourselves and headed back. Turns out, the game was finished 20 minutes ago and they didn’t realise we were gone. Real nice. This place has got some great safety rules going on, I feel so safe when I’m here (note sarcasm). What I want to know is how people can seriously not realise people are missing! I swear someone better be getting sued for this.
That night I headed back to my tent and prepared myself for the best sleep I would ever have out of all the 12 days.
Hey guys, sorry for another short chapter, nothing happened on day 11.
