I was currently sitting on the floor with Beverly as we tried to finish our project.

"Looks like we're done," Beverley squealed at our project we had just finished. "It looks great, don't it girl?"

I nodded my head and laughed. "It looks great Bev,"

"What's wrong?" She asked finishing some touch ups. "Still thinking about that party?"

I shrugged. "Yeah."

It's only been two days since it happened and everyone was doing their own thing and it was hard for me to cooperate with everything going on because the boys were literally ignoring the girls, they were pissed, but the most mad one was of course Lamonte.

I couldn't blame him, he had just found out his sister was chilling with the enemy, but I just didn't get what the real problem is.

"Girl don't trip, everything will be fine once that party their throwing in like two days happens. It'll be like nothing happened." Beverly smiled.

"I hope so."

"So have you talked to your brother?"

"Yeah, almost everyday." I laughed. "Why?"

"Is he seeing someone?"

I almost choked as I looked at her.

"You're a nice girl and all, but my brother isn't the type of boy you want to get involved with, trust me."

She laughed as I held a confused look.

"I have a boyfriend, it isn't for me. It's for my friend Myra Brown. You know her?"

"Pretty girl you always hang out with?"

"Yeah her, she really likes him. I don't see why. But you know."

"Yeah, I don't think he is seeing anyone, just tell her to make the first move or something."

"Okay, well I'm about to go now. I have a date with my boyfriend tonight and I want to prepare. See you later boo." She gave me a hug and collected her stuff.

"You too girl, have fun, use protection." I told her as we both laughed.

I was listening to music as Nina walked in and started to shake her booty to the beat. I laughed and joined her before we both fell on the floor laughing at each others moves. Nina and I have became so close over these few weeks and I could honestly saw we were the realest on each others teams. It's crazy how a person you known for not even a long time can become a very important person in your life and a great friend

"You want to go get snacks from the store with me and have a movie night tonight? I need some relaxing time bad with my girl." She asked me and I shrugged.

"I'm down, I haven't seen you lately and when we're both here, we either sleep, studying, or doing homework." I laughed and she did too.

"I know right? Collage is stressful as fuck and taking most of my money. I knew I should've become a stripper named Bubbles or something, girl." She joked. "I may not have a big booty but ya' girl got enough to shake the world.
