Unexpectedly You

Chapter 11

We went to an ice skating rink. I did mention to him that I can ice skate so I had no problem.

I did slip a few times, but James would catch me. And it felt good to have someone catch me when I fell.

"I had a great time thank you so much James." I said to him as we got closer to my house.

"No problem, I'm glad you had fun."

"Totally."

We pulled up to my curb and I got out. Before leaving I waved goodbye to him and he left when I closed the door to my house. I checked the clock and it said 8:30. I talked to my mom about a few things and I went back to my room. I washed my face and brushed my teeth.

I threw myself on my bed and I got a message from James.

"Glad you had fun (: hope I didn't drop you off too late." The message said.

I texted back "don't worry my curfew is at 9:30"

Once again we texted for a while and I fell asleep. I woke up at 6:30 in the morning and I got up and went downstairs and made my self a coffee. I watched TV for about an hour and around 7:10 my parents woke up.

"Good morning baby!" My mom said.

"Hey mom! Is dad still asleep?"

"Yeah, you know him."

We giggled and I went back up stairs. I took a quick shower and changed. Me and Victoria had already planned to go to the mall at 10:00. I said bye to my parents and started my car and left. When I got there I waited for about 5 minutes and Victoria finally arrived.

"There you are!" I nearly yelled.

"Sorry, traffic from where I come from." She apologized.

"It's alright. What store you want to go to?"

"Hollister is fine."

"Alright let's go."

We talked and she finally asked me what she has been wanting to ask me.

"Sooo, how did it go with umm, James?" She said awkwardly.

"Awesome! Actually. We went ice skating! It was really great." I answered

"Oh ok cool."

We ate at the food court and went to one more store. When we were done we grabbed a Starbucks and left home. I got home at 2:30. I hung all my clothes and went downstairs to help my mom. I checked to see if I had any messages form James, but I didn't. At 5:20 I checked again and nothing.

I decided to text him first,

"Hey c:"

Nothing.

Two hours passed, nothing.

After dinner, still nothing.

I sighed and got ready for bed. When I was falling asleep James finally texted me back.

"Hey sorry, I was at work." What a relief he had a good excuse. I had actually been off for a while so I haven't worked for about a week. I texted him back,

"Oh ok don't worry."

"Ok good I didn't want to disappoint you :("

"No I'm fine lol wyd?"

"I was about to go shower, wby?"

"Nothing I was about to sleep, but if you want to shower, go shower I can wait (:"

"No no no, I will wait! Unless you want to sleep already?"

"Nahh, now that I'm texting you no cx"

"Aww how sweet, but if you say so! What did you do today"

"I went to the mall with Victoria cx I would have asked you to go with me, but I know you don't like shopping."

"Lol cool you know me so well!"

"Yeah I guess I do!"

"Umm can I ask you something?"

I started to feel nervous when I I saw that message.

"Sure what?" I tried to play it cool.

"Ummm how about, coming to the park with me after school on Monday?"

Phew. I thought he was gonna ask me to be his girlfriend! I would like to, but we have only been on one date and soon two.

"Yeah totally, meet you at the cafeteria after school?"

"Yeah. Well I'm gonna shower bye pretty girl (;"

I blushed and giggled.

"Bye James cx" I locked my phone and fell asleep with a smile across my face.
