Unexpectedly You

Chapter 14

After school the next day I waited for Justin in the cafeteria. I looked like an idiot and a loner just standing there. He finally came.

"Hey sorry I was being held back by a teacher." He said panting.

"Oh ok why?" I needed to know.

"Oh ummmm a lecture for having late homework, you know them." He sounded like a liar. He put his arm around me, "come on babe."

I wriggled out of his arm and said, "Excuse me? We're not even at our first date and you're already calling me that? I'm sorry I don't do that, just don't call me that again." I probably ruined my chance, but honestly, I'm hard to get.

I don't let myself go that easily. "Hey ok ok I'm sorry," he lifted his hands like he was about to get arrested. We left in our separate cars and he gave me directions to the frozen yogurt place we were going to.

When we got our yogurt we sat down at a high table close to the glass window. "So what did you want to tell me?" I asked.

"Oh ummm, I think you're beautiful and I was wondering if you wanted to be my girlfriend?" My heart was pounding so hard I'm surprised Justin didn't hear it.

How could he look like he isn't nervous or like his heart isn't pounding? He looks like he doesn't even care! No expression on his face and the way said it with no emotion at all!

"I-I-I-I- ummm ha-ha-i-humm-ha." I kept on stuttering and got my mind set to what he was asking me again.

"Well we don't even talk, but if you give me sometime we will see." He let out a big breath and smiled.

"Ok now I feel more relieved." He said. We kept talking and got to know each other more for the rest of the afternoon. Afterwards I went home and ate a bit because he took me out to eat. "Young lady where have you been?!" My mom screamed from the living room.

"Oh don't worry mom I was out with an old friend." I answered. "Mmmmmhhhhhh, sure. Be careful, you don't know if your old friend has become some crazy psycho!"

Wow seriously mom.

"Ok ok whatever I'm going to bed good night." I headed up stairs and called Victoria.

She was so excited about everything more than I was. Later on I went to bed excited to know what's going to happen next. Oh my god, I forgot about another guy, JAMES!!!!
